Connect and Study Cram.

Stats exam tomorrow! Spent like (notevenkidding) 5 hours in Gloria Jeans today cramming for stats before Connect Leaders meeting.

I bought a coffee and a tea, trying to reduce caffeine levels... ahahaha....

not working... lol

I think it was fairly productive... ahaha....

before connect, i went and ate pizza with ML, cause he's doing connect too. What a cool guy.

I'm so unhealthy HAHAHA.

EXAMS TOMORROW OMIGOSH
3
I'm concerned im going to fail. ahahahaha.

Im too tired to study anymore... i think i just want to go to bed...

Also cause of the connect train and plan (which brought back baulko iscf memories tbh, haha kenny), i missed the latest ep of doctor who!

So sad.

Though i regret nothing.

I'm going to defs go to docsoc screening tomorrow.

I've put attending on it a couple of times, but i've never actually been, shhhhhhhhhhhhh LOL.

But tomorrow defs going, bringing by newly addicted friend along who has now caught up. (HAHA JIN)

Church was nice today :) We did Ecclesiastes and 1 Corinthians, which is what i'v been doing in my quiet times, so i had that fun "omigosh i know what he's talking about because i'm going over that now and now i understand EVERYTHING" moment ahahaha.

Also, strangely, conversations in hash tag are kind of fun.

Historical :O

TODAY WAS SO MUCH FUN!

Ah i realise girls are awesome :3 I love females the most, guys are stupid and boring. It's so fun with female friends... *cries* i need to make new friends at uni....

Went out today with MH and BT and it was so much fun!

omg transport (kenso to city) was terrible, i had to wait FOREVER for the bus and then when i got on i realised why. Terrible traffic in the area. I swear I didn't move off one street for 15minutes. It took so long my candy crush hearts reloaded.

Ate ramen :3 Wanted ramen for a while, but i feel that, although it's totally normal to get a coffee by yourself (if you have your laptop so you can cram that last minute tute hw), getting food by yourself is just a little lonely...

(i forgot to take a photo, i was too hungry haha.)

Went to cafe after lunch, my sweet memory haha. the shop is so cute!

I was highly tempted by the GIANT CAKES but i didn't get a giant cake.

We stayed in the cafe, just talking, for AGES. It was the best :3

and we got some poor girl nearby to take polariod(s) for us :D

After, the girls took me to Haymarket Supre, which is actually not like all the other supres (somewhat)

It's much bigger and MUCH CHEAPER.

Like $2.50 for a top.

And - this is the amazing bit - I BOUGHT A CROP TOP.

I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD EVER EVER WEAR ONE.

BUT I ACTUALLY BOUGHT ONE.

Also a galaxy skirt, which im really happy about because i've always loved the idea of galaxy print bought always found galaxy print tights to be too intimidating haha.

There are like BILLIONS of amazing galaxy type products on Etsy that I've always wanted to buy, but don't have the money for :/

Oh Etsy. If only i was richer...

Went back to the house and flipped out when i met this (not so) little guy

As my housemate so accurately put it, "i have no problem with nature. I just have a problem when it comes indoors."

haha.

argh

I haven't done my accounting quiz and it's due tomorrow. Nor have i started using peridisco.

Alysha can you please be more organised??

I tried to book a study room for tomorrow at uni library and i couldn't get anywhere at time later than 10 and earlier than 6 :(

i booked next week room though. a week in advance.

i just drank like almost a litres worth of coffee in an effort to stay awake today.

I don't think i did very well on the exam.

Today i fell asleep on the bus, and woke up halfway to wolli creek. I had to get off and catch another bus, luckily it came in 15 minutes instead of 30...

soba, steamed fish, stir fried vegetables and miso soup with shiitake mushrooms and tofu for dinner...

i felt good.

i actually like cooking. it's kinda relaxing. though time consuming.

---

i find that red lipstick automatically makes you feel sexier. If you're feeling down, red lipstick is definitely a way to perk up. Especially if it's the hallucination-inducing-kind like river song's ahaha.

---

went to sleep this morning at 3am, so when i woke up I was like, what time did i sleep in to, and when i checked the time, it said 6:30. My sleep beffudled mind was like "OMFG IT'S 6:30PM YOU SLEPT THROUGH YOUR EXAM!!"

and then i was like WAIIIIT. IT'S AM. IVE HAD LESS THAN 3HOURS SLEPT WHAT THE HELL AM I UP FOR.

so i went to sleep and then woke up at 11.

I missed my stats lecture and econ lecture. =="

we should be getting econ results back tomorrow :/

---

walking to uni today i looked up and happened to notice a hanging herb garden with lanterns.

I want one.

(i felt somewhat creepy and stalkerish taking this photo ahaha....)

economics :(

WHILE I WAS PRINTING MY ECON HW TODAY, THIS GUY WAS LIKE 'OH HEY IT'S YOU ALYSHA.' AND THEN HE LOOKED AT MY CLOTHES. LIKE HEAD UP, DOWN, UP AND SMIRKED.

AND I WAS LIKE, PLEASE STOP JUDGING MY CLOTHES. I LIKE WHAT I WEAR.

ALTHOUGH TO HIS FACE I WAS JUST LIKE 'HAHA WHAT?'

AND HE'S LIKE '... NOTHING. I JUST HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN A WHILE...'

BUT MY CLOTHES! YOUR FACE HAS JUDGEMENT WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!

D:

Currently at Uni library with NS. I should be studying but I'm not.

Exam is in 2 hours.

haha.

I had coffee from that cart that everyone speaks of glowingly.

It was nice :D

Not so nice that it deserves endless rants.

But nice.

English tutoring

Soooooooooooooooooo how'd you guys find your HSC marks? AHEM SHELLEY SHE JUST SAYING WTHECK HOW CAN YOU BE SO SMART AND BEAUTIFUL AND BEASTLY TAKING OUT STATE RANKS EVERYWHERE. (plz have my babies. Then they will be smart and beautiful and incredibly imaginary, because that's not possible, sadly. Which you would know because you state ranked bio. In which case, I'm sad because I love gurl, cos you are amazballs. And James is now feeling threatened.)

I find it freaky, because after putting my marks into an ATAR calculator, it told me I would get 92.1. And I dreamt I got 92. :O

I HAVE FUTURE PREDICTING QUALITIES!!!!

(in b4 I get 91 tomorrow hahaha)

Haha actually after I got my marks I went and changed my preferences to more realistic goals. So sad lol.

I don't think I can sleep tonight. So tense for ATAR. I could barely sleep last night. Luckily no work tomorrow ^.^

I was so tired today I bought a coffee from the local cafe during lunch whilst tutoring. Haha actually I slept for like 4 hours, and I felt more awake today than I did yesterday, when I slept for like 10. Mysteries of life.

So I've been tutoring this year 6 kid for selective. (his mum runs the Pre-uni I work at, so she asked me to tutor her kid) I'm his specific English tutor. She asks other tutors to teach math and GA depending on their skills :p I was kinda happy because he wanted his mum to make me his permanent everything tutor haha. :D he likes me! Yayayayayayay. Even though I'm strict, I guess he laughs a lot, so that's ok.

A deal we made is that when he writes a short story with stimulus, I have to write one too. I don't mind, because we have very different ideas and writing styles, so he can learn from mine.

But today I actually really liked what I wrote, so with some extra polishing and a bit more writing (they only get 20 minutes to write their short story! It's so fast! I struggle to complete anything because I'm used to double the time haha... Stupid HSC)

The stimulus I gave him was a picture of an old wooden box with gold lettering that read "do not open." I told him that the character disobeys and he has to write about what happens. He was pretty excited haha.

He writes well, with great ideas. But his writing is a bit basic and lacks good grammatical structure. I helped him structure his writing better already, so now it has a clear plot line. But now I need to help him be above acceptable. He needs to be brilliant >:3 (haha alysha's annoying English perfectionist streak returns! Although English is the only thing i did well in, apart from legal, so makes sense I guess.)

Anyway his mum has noted clear improvement, so she wants me to come more haha. On boxing day! Right after Christmas! As the day after! Shes kinda sad I'm going overseas for 3 weeks, because I can't work with him haha. But I'm so excited! Yayayayayayay overseas!

I'm ranting.

Anyway you don't have to read the next part, because I've probably lost ability to write over the non-HSC-period. Though I did nano. But that wasn't very good. I suppose this isn't very good either... More writing may come up, seeing as I have to write every time he does haha...

Alysha rant writing Yayayayayayay! Or not... haha :3

---

Humans can never obey orders.

It's in our nature.

We can't help it.

A part of us wants to rebel. To break free of obligations and rules. To go wherever we want. To do whatever we want. Regardless of what other people say.

A park bench is infinitely more interesting when it is labelled 'wet paint.' You always have a compulsive desire to touch it, confirm that it is, indeed, wet paint, and that you should, indeed, not touch it.

People always want to do the opposite of what they are told.

So when a mysterious package that was simply labelled 'do not open' appeared on the doorstep of young Sally Nightingale, what else was she to do?

Naturally, she was fulled with an immediate and pressing need to open the box and discover it's contents.

However, this was a difficult task. The box was fairly small, but it was a heavy box of beaten metal that shone with a dull silver light. There was a lid and a hinge, but no latch.

Sally had a frustrating time trying to open it. There didn't appear to be a seal, yet the box remained firmly shut. There were no buttons on it's side, and even after shaking it, the box did not budge.

Just when she began to lose hope and start feeling depressed, the lid made a small clicking noise. It had opened by itself. (Perhaps the box was sentient.)

The object that was hidden inside was odd.

Her initial reaction was one of awe. Her second was deep concern, and her third was downright fear.

The small peak inside that Sally exposed herself to when the box opened slightly, enough for the lid to be ajar, was a vision of light. A warm, yellow light that seemed to hum with with energy and reminded her of sunlight breaking through clouds after a storm.

With a trembling hand, Sally raised the lid a centimetre higher.

Instantly, she was hit with a giddy sensation of ecstasy. It reminded her of her 4th birthday, the last birthday her entire family was together, the day at the beach when she was 16 and carefree, her first kiss in the pouring rain with a guy she thought she was destined to be with, and numerous days where she could sit back and just sleep, all rolled into one second of feeling.

She collapsed, her chest heaving, gasping for air. The pure emotions swirling inside her, powerful shots of memories, mixed with warm bubbles of joy. It shot through her brain like champagne, and left her feeling warm and happy.

She wasn't quite sure what is the box, but she knew it was something strong. Amazingly strong, bringing her memories out like that.

And then she stopped, concerned. What if it was some kind of wonderdrug, trying to capture a new victim that would pay excessive amounts for their next hit?

If it was a drug, she had a responsibility to hand the box to the police.

She swallowed her concern and pushed open the lid all the way.

It felt as if she was floating on cold fire. Head thrown back, she shrieked with joy and the rush she was experiencing, the pure exhilaration.

And then the lid snapped shut, and she lay on the ground, breathless with fear and wonder.

The box seemed to be full of something strange. An energy source? A drug?

She wondered how it came to her.

But what it was, she was certain of it.

Inside the box, was pure happiness.

Practically Professional.

So I've started working 9 to 5.

It's pretty tiring.

Although I don't even do much. Just reception and packing and things.

The best thing is they have a coffee machine. It's been fueling my caffeine addiction.

Although sometimes I am unsure as to whether I like coffee or coffee flavored hot sugary milk :p

It's nice here, it's a small company and everyone's really friendly :)

I think it's cause it's a family business, so everyone is close cause there's so few people. My cousin's (in law? He married my cousin) dad heads the group, so as the eldest son he mostly helps run it. The the other brother does accounts and shipping. And they have a bunch of people as well as me :D

---

My cousin was driving me back home, talking about what I want to do in the future. When I told him I wanted to work in a big law firm or as an in house lawyer. And then he was like "i hope I'm not being too chauvinistic, but I'm assuming you want to get married and have children. So won't you be working for like 5-6 years before you have kids? And then you'll leave work. The greatest thing is if you marry the right guy and never have to work and stay at home taking care of the kids. If you work at a big law firm, won't you be at the bottom for 5years? And then you'll have to leave. It's too sad."

And I didn't say anything. You guys impressed? Lol.

Anyway, I don't think majority of families in our society can afford to live on a single income. So regardless I'll probably not stop working completely ever. EVER.

Besides, I like the idea of climbing that corporate ladder :p

 ---

Something I do at work is flick through home design magazines to try and did references to the company products. It's really fun, cause I like interior design :p

if I had money I would totally renovate houses and such :D (I decided a while ago if I failed HSC and got like 60ATAR I'll go do interior design and embrace my poor poor future, where you're a vegetarian/vegan only because you can't afford meat LOLOL.)

But yeah, flicking through this stuff, it kinda makes me want to take all the magazines home and make scrap books lol.

 Or get a pininterest.

I've wanted one for a while, but haven't acted upon yet.

We'll see if I do lol.

---

Because I'm working all the time, I come home and I'm pretty tired, so I haven't written much for nano. I've taken to handwriting some of it out in a notebook during work to try and catch up. But now I have no idea what the word count is.

AHHHH.

I'll have to type like crazy on a Saturday.

But I wanted to go to the markets on saturday :(

oh wells.

---

I taught my mum how to play this ps3 game the other day, now she can't wait everyday for me to come home and play with her lol. So cute. (she refuses to play with my siblings cause try need to study haha)

she was like to me while we were gaming "I don't want you to go to work... I don't have work tomorrow so I wanna play with you." Ngawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww :)

Although the gaming is cutting into my writing time, I can't help it. She's so cute :3

Also congrats to all those kids who've finished after chem :D welcome to freedom lol. :D

have a meme to celebrate.

Iced Coffee, and The Hulk.

I'm feeling the sad, sad truth about living with my parents.

I will never be able to have the perfect cup of coffee at home.

Reading all these coffee-lover blog posts, I realise (and I knew this before) I can't get a good coffee without a machine. It just doesn't work.

What I really need to try is the perfect ice coffee recipe.

Did you know there are two main ways of making ice coffee? Cold brew verses hot brew.

The hot brew (and more common) version is to simply brew normal hot coffee, let it cool, and then pour it over ice.

Cold brew is where you take cold water and soak the coffee powder in it, then slowly drain the coffee water away from the dregs, the refridgerate. It's a long process but it makes (supposedly) the best ice coffee.

I really really really want to try this, but there's no way its achievable with my family.

We don't have the fridge space lol. Also, my mum hates coffee.

Also, it turns out it's not just me who likes to use condensed milk in home made coffees. I managed to get coffee powder (not the instant stuff, the good stuff) by myself, but it's just not the same as freshly ground and brewed.

It's lacking that depth.

I really really really need to get a machine.

I told my mum when I move out I'm getting a coffee machine, and she gave her usual "coffee is evil - do you want to look like your 65 when your only 40?" rant, and i told i her don't care, i like coffee.

Then she told me she'll come over to my house and destroy my machines.

I nearly cried.

Not really. But I would if I had them and she did destroy it. Do you know how expensive coffee machines are? But I guess they would save you money if you bought coffee everyday. That's like $42 a week.

---

My brother is surprisingly aggressive now. It has increased considerably over such a short period of time. Before, when he was angry he'd just throw glares at you. Now, he'll actually come up and try and hit me. Maybe it's cause he's started to take kung fu, but it actually hurts a bit when the punches land.

I dunno. Maybe it's puberty.

He told me I should learn Kung Fu so I can defend myself in case he gets angry and looses it. I told him just to control himself and I wouldn't have to worry about it.

Kinda sounds like a conversation with the Hulk or something.

haha.

Did you have any drastic emotional changes when you went through puberty? I remember I cried all the time, for absolutely no reason. Once I cried when my mum said we were having dessert, and I didn't know why. She will never let me forget that.

---

I saw this on the internet, and I laughed so hard. It would be such a brilliant compliment in real life, but it'd be super bad to write it on a facebook photo post.

Can you imagine? It'd be kinda like... bad

oh the chaos.

---

Nano! I'm so excited. I was talking to my mum's friend who is an editor/column writer/Josh's english tutor and told her I was doing nano and she was like COOOOOL! And I was like I know! And then she was like "Is it for school?" and i was like "no, just wanted to do it." and she was like "ok. *weird face* You're doing it with friends though?" And I was like "yup"

So guys, you need to nano with me, and we can word battle and such. It will be fun! :D

Also I don't have any nano friends on my author profile, which is sad lol.

Probably because i don't know how to add anyone. :p

---

Anyway, here's a meme.

I just realised, my blog is quite image heavy. I apologise for those slow internets out there.

bye guys!

Last soup kitchen before HSC

Will genuinely miss it.

haven't posted in a while. didn't post any sentimental stuff about school ending, though i intended to.

I did bawl my eyes out though.

When that last bell rang on thursday, i realised it was the end of school for reals. And then i cried. lol.

so weak.

Also, tried out that new cafe in parra called platform 8. it's kinda funky looking. The chairs are cool. Kinda just sat there with an ice coffee and my ext english essay and edited for ages.

I practically rewrote the thing.

Also, gangnam style is everywhere. It's freaky. It's even on mainstram english radio. in korean. not even english version like girls generation. weird.

Also, i forgot to send in my scholarship things. i'm an idiot.

Trivia night

lol when i came home i was so tired i was falling asleep in the shower, falling asleep while blowdrying hair, i'm amazing.

although that was after i ate four slices of pizza. :p

TRIVIA NIGHT WAS AWESOME!!!!

although we didn't win, we still did pretty well, and we certainly played the best pictionary game in quite possible the entire world.

and lol sports section.

awful.

---

I showed my mum nyan cat today. she thought it was the dumbest thing ever.

So naturally this made me want to learn to play it on piano.

haha.

you can get the sheet music here if you're interested.

---

I've been trying to not drink coffee, so i decided to drink chai lattes instead.

And then, cause i felt like it, i put a heart on it.

And then, cause i felt like it, i put it on my blog.

(my room is messy)

---

anyway, some lols while i go finish ext2.

I saw this and all i thought was "NAVIGATING THE GLOBAL !@#%&#^%(*!u)!(@#"

Day one of bruise progression.

So today in drama I rolled off JM incorrectly and landed on my knee. (feels like skyrim. "I used to be an adventurer like you until I took an arrow [injury] to the knee.")

It's starting to bruise quite beautifully. It's currently a pale purple bluey green. I'll see what colour it turns into when it starts to form a larger bruise.

Here's a photo, if you can see anything.

What colour do you actually call bruise colour? Or is it just bruise colour? It's actually quite a pretty colour.

Today I went to KF's house to make oreo cheesecake. But he didn't have half the baking equipment i expected and use at home, so I pretty much used experience to guesstimate how much was 50g icing sugar and fractions in cartons to assume how much was mls and such. And that is how a 15minute prep cake turned into like 3 hour prep cake. lol. So any LTEC members reading, I apologise if the cakes tastes/tasted bad.

And then after went to library to study until my dad could pick me up. And I drank Korean canned coffee, because I was really tired and I've always wanted to try canned coffee. It actually doesn't taste too bad. Plan on bringing it to next camp I go to, so probably yr12 camp coming up, because I always need a little pick me up after camp nights lol. And it only cost $1.20! Though that might be because I spoke in Korean lol.

Looks like this. The side says "don't worry, be happy." Which made me feel like singing Guy Sebastian's song :)
And I was hungry so bought  $1 turkish bread from the outdoor display at the Epping kebab place. The store keeper was so nice, he saw me walking down past the window and he smiled at me, and when I stopped looking at the break he came out of the counter and was like "how was your day at school?" and when i asked him if it was hard, he was like "no! no! Very fresh, very soft, it'll heat it up for you!" and he put it in the microwave and smiled and I told him he didn't have to and he was like "course, it's my job, always do the best for you. :)"

He's such a nice guy, I went to buy chips there with my sister once, and we were so indecisive about using tomato sauce (she hates it, i love it) or chicken salt (i'm neutral, she loves it) so that he gave us the bottle and the shaker and a plate of chips and sat us down and told us to do whatever we want. And he gave us HEAPS of chips too. Such a nice guy.

ISN'T MY SISTER SO PRETTY????

Also English Extension excursion is on the same day as Doorknock appeal, which is the day after Relay for Life (NO SLEEP ACCORDING TO CAPITAIN NA) so dunno what to do for that lol.

Oh. closing off with some Whovian fangirling.

Although they don't have Matt Smith, the 11th doctor, they have 1-8 doctors from the original tv series, the 3 special edition doctors from the comic book series (argh never read, only heard of.), and the 2 doctors from the lastest series. Such cool art.

There is yet to be a red headed doctor.

Also, here Rowan Atkinson is Doctor Who. It was a bloody good mini special, i was rolling around laughing. And it has young Hugh Grant and young Jim Broadbent (Slughorn in HP) starring as the Doctor as well as Mr Bean. And young Jonathan Pryce (Weatherby Swann in Pirates) plays the Master.

It pokes fun at Doctor Who, but it's so funny i don't mind. :)

Post crappness.

I love people.

Really. Some people just make me so happy whenever I see them :') I really love you guys.

Days like this make me think about the beauty of human relationships. Sometimes I just want to become hermit and hide away from the world, and never talk to anyone again and go buy a farm in Tasmania or English countryside somewhere and become self sustainable and never have to see people again, such is my mood and lack of faith in humanity. (Or quite possibly perhaps instead, it's a lack of faith in myself? I dunno.)

And then people do magnificent, seemingly small gestures that make me believe that there is hope, that not everyone is selfish, and that if you look hard enough there is always a legit reason why people act like such an ass.

So thank you guys.

Speaking of things that cheered me up, I thought I should make a list to keep me in a positive frame of mind :)

- BT's mix CD. I'm listening to it now. It's really great. :) It's the kind of music I like to listen to but never know where to find it from haha.
- Skip Beat update :)
- Cake making plans with KF.
- Organising payments :)
- 9gag. oh that brilliant site of happiness
- this video.
Nothing like listening to Freddie to brainwashing yourself into HAVING A GOOD TIME, HAVING A GOOD TIME!
- Reading cooking blogs.
- Reading anything other than what i'm prescribed for school
- Watching The Voice
- Cleaning my desk
- Practising rapping like nicki minaj, because she has a great accent for my drama piece.
- Sharpening pencils
- Reading my ext2work.
- Playing with my adorable owl, pretending it bears a letter from Hogwarts...

- Home made coffee. I'm getting really good at making coffee at home, without a coffee machine. I can even make cafe style latte. The trick is this milkshake blender thing that is like 15 years old that I've been previously using to make bisques and creamy vegetable soups, because there's a blade in it that cutes things like pumpkin down so it tastes thick and smooth. But that's not the point. It looks like this:

And what I've been doing is using COFFEE TEA BAGS, which is quite possibly the best invention in the world, and also chai tea bags to make it.

But seriously, coffee bags are genius. It even lets you make those pretty designs in the froth :)

The important thing is to remember - in cafes they don't use much water. I've been watching the barrista's prep coffee whenever i went to the cafe (which was about 5 times in a week last week lol, i ended up getting soy latte a lot, because it has less fat and less caffine, but it doesn't help much haha) and they don't add water. Water is only used in the form of STEAM to super heat & froth your drink up. Which is why those instant coffee stuff doesn't taste good, cause you have to add too much hot water and not enough milk.

Anyway, if you're interested, i can write about how to make cafe style coffee/chai latte, with designs and everything. And it's dead easy if you have a tea bag. Or even you can make your own, they're not hard.

NOTHING IS BETTER THAN COFFEE TO HELP YOU STAY UP AND DO MATH HOMEWORK.

REALLY. IT REALLY HELPS.

Also saw this on 9gag and found it to be my life right now.

I think they're all quite cute, so i followed the blog :) CHECK IT OUT.

So in the words of Veggietales,

God made you special, and he loves you very much.

Goodbye!

Past few days

Have been going to cafes more often for some unknown reason. This is from sunday, in an outdoor cafe near my church in the awesome area of surry hills. Went op shopping with my sister there, they have the coolest recycled clothing from all different eras and styles.

Though for some reason a ridiculous amount of denim.

And i do love everything they have, but unfortunately it was all quite out of my price range.

And they have the quirkiest shops. People open up their own private art galleries in their homes and put on sale things they make and collect.

Seriously, my church is located in such a cool area, you walk down one road you reach market city, up the same road woolworths and industrial district, the other way, one side is art galleries and cafes, and the other is the upper class restraunts, parks and libraries.

Plus the architecture in Surry Hills is awesome.  You get really old, terraced buildings next to modern, hip art galleries, shops and cafes.

And a lot of these cafes and galleries just use the first floor of the terraced buildings :)

Sorry if this seems like ranting haha

Also they have one of the best pastizzi places ever nearby.

They are the taste of my childhood.

---

Saw this on RL blog Oliver and i thought i'd do it :) Her blog makes me think, because her way of thinking is so different to me. :)

Are you one of those people who are always tripping over things?
Constantly.

Would you ever consider taking evening classes in anything?
Yup. Singing, drama, musical theatre, dance, guitar... after high school i want to continue learning what i'm passionate about, nevt just about my degree.

Are you the type to make situations awkward?
Maybe. But i hate awkward situations. Besides, i think nothing is awkward if you think it's not awkward.

Do you prefer fast food or “proper”, restaurant style food?
As long as it's tasty, i dont care

Would you ever go out with someone shorter than you?
Nope. But i wouldn't mind same height. (RL you can say no, you're not THAT tall...)

Is your mum the type to pressure you to have grandchildren?
She doesn't pressure me, bu she always says things like "your kids are going to..." or "when i play with your kids..."

Do you have any traits that you inherited from your parents?
Alot haha. Personality, intrests, physical features... I wouldn't be the person that i am without my rents :)

Are you still in touch with people you went to primary school with?

Lol my best friend in primary is still mine now :)

Do you like Sushi?

Food adventure :)

Went out with my sister for funzies.

Yesterday at Donut king they had the free coffee deal thing, so obviously, being supremely asian and coffee loving, had to go and check it out.

I took a picture for the blog of the row of coffee cups advertising free coffee. I heard about it on the radio. ... love radio :)

Actually, in terms of coffee, the coffe was really nice. Got a latte.

CONSIDERING IT WAS FREE. :D

Hehe. I was so happy with my free coffee. And it came in a really pretty glass, and i was so excited, cause i usually get coffee to take away, and Gloria Jeans doesn't do glasses...

I should drink coffee in cafes more often.

Not that that's a hipster thing and i seem to be doing them a lot more. I just happen to like pretty glass cups when i drink things. Although maybe wearing sweaters and knit jumpers and glasses doesn't dispell the hipster image.

I don't want to be hipster. I like sci fi and mainstream music. Sort of. Actually i hate mainstream music, mostly. Like dubstep and stuff, because it annoys me. Really, i much prefer alternative rock, or british music. Or even french music. I'm trying to learn how to sing l'accordinaste by edith piaf for drama, but i'm dramatically lacking in vocal power haha. But music like lady gaga and RAR RAR RAR RAR RARARAR non stop, i just don't get it. Lyrically it's like a baby wrote it.

Back on the topic of free coffee :D

My sister wanted to take the photo when i started to try and take a photo of the glass haha. she's such a good photographer yeah? She makes me look halfway decent lul. Except for the one on the 3rd where i yawned HAHAHAHA. And then she was laughing at me so i stuck my tounge out.

Like when i went to that cafe in parra with tuesday, that was a really awesome shop, with THE best (and quite possible most expensive) soy chai latte i have had to date. I dream of that chai latte. It was brilliant. And the store was so cute too. :)

Anyway after my coffee with my sis we went and got late lunch with my mum and bro and the had  SPECIAL AFTERNOON LUNCH DEAL. Which is awesome, cause that means it's cheap and a relatively small(er) bowl. (because chinese food bowls are HUGE and i can't finish them on my own usually. Unless i haven't eaten all day and it's like 8 in the evening. Like that time after work experience hahahahaha. MASSIVE BOWL OF PHO, gone in like 15 minutes. I kid, wasn't actually 15, but it was ridiculously fast for a massif bowl.

Oh, and i had a cup of hot soy milk :D

Now here's something that i always find confusing. How come white people soy milk takes so different to chinese soy milk? Who knows. Something that i have been pondering alot recently.

Also something that has been going on alot recently is my sibling's obession with L4D2. Or for you non-gamers, left for dead 2. A zombie game with lots of shooting. I freaked them out by whimpering in a corner in the same manner as a 'witch', which is apparently some super hard and scary female zombie that is extremely difficult to kill.

And last night, my brother was walking up the stairs when he bumped into my mum's handbag hanging on the banister and he screamed, cause he thought it was a zombie. :D

Aren't my siblings totally adorable?

Also skype with webcam is an interesting experience.

And i think personality books are stupid.

Just saying.

Wow.

You know, studying for exams is intense.

To make it more intense, try not studying. It's peaceful and stressful at the same time. I think nothing really beats it.

Also recently I've been studying at my favorite library, but it's progressively getting less and less productively the more people I get to know. Soon I shall have to buy silencing head phones to block out all noise like ML.

Which is funny, on the topic of ML, people who have asked whether we are siblings have increased to 4.

And I haven't written in a while so this may seem kind of ranty.

But I probably will write a lot more regularly now that I have a blogger app on my phone. It makes things considerably easier.

Anyway the point of this blog was:

Have you ever felt like everything that was happening to you was so ridiculously unjust you were so mad and crying at the same time? I didn't know whether to scream or cry.

Also I think the closer you are to a person the less you fight, but the more explosive the fights are.

On a more positive note, or negative, depending on how you look at it, they've chosen the next Doctor Who companion.

http://www.bbcamerica.com/anglophenia/2012/03/so-who-is-jenna-louise-coleman-the-new-doctor-who-companion/

Jenna Coleman. I think she's quite pretty. She's in captain America apparently.

And after exams are over I'm going to watch some of her stuff again.

Also I thought I would die today. Hermit is a hermit for a reason. Man, if looks could kill...

All in all, today was interesting, and plea bargaining means the same as case conferencing, though they sound nothing alike.

Bye kids.

And just to test the photo capabilities on this, I'll chuck in a photo of my cafe coffee.

:D
