wibbly wobbly timey wimey (picture heavy)

(Didn't publish this yestrday, so tacking today at the bottom aha...)

Also this is very experimental cause I'm using my phone and the updated blogger app that allows photos! So let's see what happens eh? :D

THURSDAY - Pop up store and Newtown madness.

(8:30am)

Sitting at the bus stop in costume watching the bus go by.

I think I might be late to the opening, which means I woke up early all excitedly and put on costume possibly for no reason.

Oh well.

As I sit here, I realise I have an itchy spot on my foot. But I'm wearing boots so I can't scratch it.

#firstworldproblems

---

(3:00pm)

Ah it was so worth skipping lectures to go :D

The line was really long, and we got there like exactly 5 minutes before the opening. Was hoping to get there earlier, but I wasn't willing to go alone AHAHA...

But it was pretty crazy! The line went like at least 5 meters back from the door when we got there and it didn't stop growing. I swear, the line wa longer after we left than before we got in haha.

They only allowed a limited number of people inside the store at a time, so we had to wait another like hour and a half before we could go in.

They gave us chocolate TARDIS cake! (It was super tasty too.)

But there were some pretty cool people in line with pretty cool costumes, so it was pretty cool talking to fellow whovians.

I think the coolest was the weeping angel outfit.

She was pretty freaky.

I ended up buying two tshirts (one for me and one for a present) and a baker scarf :D

The scarf was the equivalent of two tshirts :( super expensive!

But whatever. #noregrets.

Went exploring with Jin after. Newtown seems to be a hipster paradise. Everything is "antique" or "unique" or "vintage" or "handmade Eco-friendly" or "recycled" or "reimagined"

They have the coolest stuff.

We stumbled into this amazing antiques store which no joke had an entire wall of antique cameras.

They also remade old vintage equipment. Like this old tv turned mirror.

I wish I was filthy rich, because I could buy almost everything in Newtown.

My entire house would look like it's from the 1940s if I had a choice.

We also ate Oporto (yummy) and had a sleepy bus ride home :)

Oh someone rang the doorbell.

---

8:00pm

It was the postman with a package. He brought my stockings ehehe.

I think I'm a bit too addicted to snapchat. Also snapchat is not entirely healthy.

My favourite snaps & amazing drawing abilities (I know screen shotting, haha)

Hehe

FRIDAY - econ exam and baby sitting

Well, exam was terrible.

The baby sitting bit was quite fun though :)

Although I have to say, putting the kids to sleep made me very sleepy too :p even though it was like 8:30 HAHA.

Looking forward to parties and fun :D

Goodnight :)

Procrastination

despite having changed from uni to high school, methods of procrastination have not changed a  bit.

Alberto was adorable today. (i might as well make a new label - #notalecturercrush)

had my first self-instigated quiet time in a long time. It felt good. :) i hope this buzz lasts.

I told this guy from my tute that i wanted to buy a dr who poster that was on sale at uni, and he looked ad me and was like "geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek."

And i had nothing to say to that in reply.

also, like Aereas noticed, guys in maroon are everywhere.

(actually i keep typing that up as marron, which is french for brown, haha.)

and like I said on his blog, we can totally make a blogosphere game out of it.

we could totally make this into a game at uni. every time you see a guy in maroon pants, you should say bingo, and everytime you see a guy in a maroon anything else say winning.

just keep a small tally whilst 2 or more blogosphere members are meeting.

nahaha its in maroon, how appropriate :D

Quanta what???

So today, I found out we have an assignment due for stats, so I TOTALLY FREAKED OUT.

Guy in my class shook his head at me and told me I should've known about it.

Then he told me it was released yesterday and due in May.

and all i thought was

I HAVE TIME :D

haha i knooooow NOT the right attitude, but whatevs :D

---

Today I feel quite disappointed with UNSW Economics co-ordinator.

I paid $19 for my printed lecture notes, and today the book didn't match what was going on.

I had to triple my already insane writing pace, because QABE is such an insanely fast-moving course.

lol jokes, but it's annoying to write the questions and then all the working, you have to write super fast and not very neat :(

I was very confused in class for a while.

---

Currently at UNSW library, and there's A WHITE CHICK READING MANGA ON HER IPAD!!!

From the angle I'm at I can't see what she's reading, but this is cool :)

---

Uni wifi is SUPER SUPER DODGY

---

I'm working on a hand-drawn banner for blog in my spare time at uni. It's been doodled on the back of my tute book haha. (not that i really have spare time, just when i get bored of studying and there's no internet lul)

It will probably look bad but oh well.

Here's the drafts...

I haven't drawn anything in a while...
beginning the inking...
Though tbh I'm scared to ink the girl cause I think it will look terrible after I do... haha.

Also the TARDIS. :/

I LOST HALF A LIFE :< (Anyone tell me where i can find a fairy in a bottle? haha)

After I drew it I realised it's portrait, and i didn't know what to do. haha. I should have drawn it landscape... oh wells. I can't edit in photo shop, I'm TERRIBLE. NOT EVEN KIDDING. I CAN'T USE TECHNOLOGY AT ALL.

I need a computer use package downloaded to me please.

Most of the stuff around it has something to do with Doctor Who: signature scarf, fez, sonic screwdriver, bow tie, TARDIS... But also have a wand, a cross, coffee and a band aid...

I need to draw some other stuff. Maybe some cake.

Cake is good.

Or fish fingers and custard.

That sounds better.

Speaking of fish fingers and custard, I opened the fridge yesterday and found a bottle of custard in there.

I was like, ... fish fingers?? :D

---

For dinner today I made roast chicken (pieces haha) and roast vegetables and tomato prawn pasta :D

My roomies went crazy and ate heaps :3

I'm happy they liked it haha.

Geekdom and overseas!

So my family went to watch the hobbit! If anyone knows me like about 3% well, they will know I'm a (lil bit) of a major geek.

I actually quite liked what they did! I mean, when i found out it was a 3 part movie, i was quite amazed, because having read the hobbit about a thousand times (not even kidding i can quote it) i know exactly how long it is. And I knew that it wouldn't be long enough for 3 parts.

(Although i did guess where they would end the first movie... eh he he.)

But they added stuff that i didn't expect! (well i sort of guessed they would add the necromancer bit, but putting radagast and stuff in was a surprise)

Anyway, as soon as the movie ended, my parents looked at me and asked "how close to the book? Which bits added? TELL MEEEEEEEE"

lol

I've got geek cred in my family.

anyway, speaking of geek cred, i saw this article on the internet, which talks about women who are geeks.

In some ways, i kinda agree with him? In others, i find him a bit pretentious. I'm not sure.

I think that yes, i do get slightly irritated when i find attention grabbing girls dressing up and pretending to be hard core geeks online. However, on the other hand, I also feel like this is just a little bit of a sexist statement? Not all girls who choose to cosplay and want to get their geek on at conventions are attention grabbers. Perhaps the word im looking for is generalisation.

(Although i do understand the 6to9 thing.)

Maybe it's because most of the people i hang out with are geeky. Who knows.

Also, i felt a twinge of sadness when he sad "girls turning up at conventions claiming they like 'doctor who.'

Is doctor who a mainstream, non-geeky show? Does that mean I'm not a geek? Surely not.

I mean, it is a more popular show, ever since David Tennant was the Doctor. (Which i find said, because personally i feel that eccly and smithy also brought heaps to the role D:) And yeah, i can't deny that i'm a bit fangirly for Matt Smith sometimes (I love his doctor! but even then, he's still not MY doctor. He just reminds me of the 4th, which i still think is my doctor. Everyone has a doctor. this might also be because i love sarah jane. haha)

S'MORES OMG

OMG so i was browsing internet instead of working as always when i chanced upon THIS baby:
It's a smores maker!!!!!! DUDE ISN'T IT LIKE THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER????

I remember when i first had a s'more, it was when i was in year 3 at church camp, they had a campfire and a friend gave me one... and it blew my mind.

It's better than just camp-toasted marshmellows, and it's a whole lot worse for you.

When i went home, i spent a long time trying to replicate the taste, including skewering marshmellows with chopsticks and holding it over our gas fire stove (was screamed at and kicked off), holding it over a candle (my mum kept hiding the matches after a small incident where i singed my fringe lol), and then we had this really good heater that had wire heating things ( i don't know how it works, but if you touched it you burnt yourself.)

So we ended up pressing the marshmellows super close to the wire and they went all warm and a little bit brown, but no where near the campfire version.

I want toasted marshmellows.

I wish i had a bunsen burner so we could make it haha...

but then i wouldn't have the gas to use it anyway... oh well.

SMORES!

---
So i was at dymocks the other day and my mum was looking at the biography section.

When i was younger i always got bibliography confused with biography. Now it's the other way round lol.

Anyway back on topic, it made me think: "Why would you want to buy a book about someone's life when it's all on wikipedia if they're interesting enough to get their book published anyway?"

And then i saw this on the internet lol.

And then i figured that's why people buy them.

Reasons:
Way better than your life: You're a nosy person and you like to know about celebs and famous people
Pretty much like your life: Voyeur. You just like to compare and wonder what you would do in their situation, especially since it's so close to yours.
Way worse than your life: One of three options
1. You read these cause you're genuinely interested in the issues that they suffered/ordeals they went through.
eg. domestic abuse, 3rd world problems, dealing with personal sickness/trauma whatever
2. You're looking for motivation.
eg. If that guy can get through that horrible thing, i can get through my HSC.
3. You just wanna feel better about yourself.
eg. I'm a horrible person. lol look, his wife died!

And also, i just realised biography is down the ailse for all them History and Memory kids and life writing kids.

haha.

Anyway, I haven't been studying much, and instead i was eating ice cream when my sister showed my this:

HOLY CRAP RIGHT????? DID NOT EVEN NOTICE.

Anyway, just because i haven't for a while:

Fantasy Lands and Milk Pudding :)

So despite being ridiculously sick, thanks to my miraculous healing powers, i mangaged to overcome the nasuea and feverish friday evening with 18 straight hours of sleep (broken by the occasional drinking of chinese herbal crap and swallowing tablets and drinking rivers dry) to stagger out of the house on saturday to go to USYD and UTS open day.

Although i did miss out on Spring Fling, which is kind of sad.

To be perfectly honest though, having gone to USYD yesterday only affirmed my original decision: if not USYD law/arts, then USYD arts and then transfer.

I went to a  moot court session! It was amazing!  But everyone around me found the entire process incredibly boring, yet i was continually excited by every rebut and mention of a legal case.

I told this to my dad and he said "good. guess you haven't got that much competition after all" haha.

Also, the only thing i can say about UTS is that it's really very... fun looking. haha. Their open day was like a festival.

I liked the balloons :)

Also, it was nice to keep running into people that I knew all around USYD and stuff. Also, when i went to catch the train, i ran into some baulko kids literally waiting at for the train. So cool haha.

Although i literally came home and was so dead, i just collasped into bed and slept for another like 12 hours.

---
One thing i hate about being sick is that you can't breathe through your nose when you have a blocked nose. So you have to breathe through your mouth. It feels kinda wrong.

It also makes eating rather uncomfortable.
---

Today was pretty crazy, awesome lecture on Hebrews 5:11 to 6:12. Was scarily relevent to me... haha. But then, any passage on laziness and diligence, as well as leadership and development of faith probably would relate to any teen :p

What i liked about today was i got to go shopping for snacks :3

Bought some awesome japanese food, one i ate at the park and the other at home JUST NOW IT WAS SO TASTY.

FIRSTLY, if you haven't been to fuji pan i really do recommend it. It's a super cute japanese bakery near chinatown that sells a large assortment (though perhaps not as large as breadtop) of asian buns. BUT it had what i've wanted to try for a long time: Japanese Melon Bread! Having read about it in mangs for so long I've been dying to try it, and now i finally have!

It kinda reminds me of Asian "pinapple" bread, but not sticky. It's really nice though! :)

Also, i had this just then, it's awesome! Eastwood Breadtop. (My mum went grocery shopping and i got hungry, so i bought a red bean bun and this to take home.) It's so cute, it came in it's own bottle and all, i couldn't resist.

And it tasted AMAZING, SO GOOD. Will probably be bought whenever i can get my hands on it haha. I have to learn how to make it...

Anyway. That's it on food.

---

So today we had FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT!!!!!! We watched John Carter.
And regardless of reviews it got (they were all pretty bad), my mum and I both agreed it was AWESOME. (Which is quite rare, we both usually don't like major movies and can predict the plot line.) There was this CRAZY TWIST and we were both like asodigjsoainrhwawieuphgaweirng!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha

I wish it did better, i would have LOVED a second movie.

Now i really want to read ALL the books :p

anyway, i should sleep soon.

Here's an awesome Doctor who/Avengers thing i saw that made me smile.
Dawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, Doctor Who, the ultimate wingman. :)

Bye guys!

The original one ended at "that wat no one will actually read it." But apparently it wasn't englishy enough, so Bob me add the rest lololol.

Sorting.

So instead of doing ext2eng or ext1maths, i'll make a post.

So my mum got a pottermore account today, just to find out which house she's in, since my siblings and i all had beta accounts.

Just so you know, my brother and I are Ravenclaw kids, and my sis is a Hufflepuff.

To which a large amount of jokes go.

Especially since we all can never find things, so when my sister always found our stuff and complained, we are all just like...

ehe hehe heh...

Anyway, so well all thought and discussed for a while (cause getting to the sorting part takes for ever) about what house our mum would potentially be in.

We all decided it would defs not be gryffindor (i dare say that no one in my family is particularly brave lul) and we thought for sure she'd be a slytherin.

And then she got sorted.

And she was a Hufflepuff.

and me and my bro were like
because my mum was all
AND THEN
my sister was like...
"Mum can't be in Hufflepuff, she can't find things."
bahahahahahahahahah

 Also,   just for the Starkids...

I congradulate anyonewho is born on the 21st March - 20th April, and for them to wait for someone who is a 10, "because you're worth it."

Also cangradulations to those born on 22nd June - 22nd July, you are a "sexy humanitarian(?)" [it's been a while since ive watched.]

BUT I'M RUMBLEROAR SO I WIN GUYS. JUST SAYIN.

Also was watching the goblet of fire again recently, and at the dragon scene i was all:

hehe. Am learning to play on guitar. It's hard...

---

onto more potter-ness, i REALLLY WANTED TO SEE THIS
http://www.pottedpotter.com/
but i think it has bad times for HSC kids. :(

Am quite the depressed.

anyway, to close with the immortal words of Doctor Who.

(you may now read the closing theme song.)

DOOO WEEEEE OOOOOOH (dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dum dummmmm) DOOO WOOO OOOOOOOH (dum dum dummmmm dum dudududmmm dum dum dummmmm) WOOO OOOH OOOOOH OOOOOOOOH OH OHHHHHHHHH OOOOH OOOOOOO........ DOOO WEEEEE OOOOOOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (dum dum dum dadadadadaddum!)

Friday, August 10, 2012

well it's been a while.

Hello. So I've been gone for a long time now, and i figure i should post something, so i'm going for something light hearted and not exam related at all.

Starting with a pop culture doctor who reference in a 2001 Kit Kat commercial.
I wonder if it's super nerdy that the only thing i recognise in the video is the daleks....

eh he he.

anyway, props to this top comment:

Which would be kinda awesome.

(Skip this whole segment if you don't like doctor who. you weird people.)

Like for example, a small contingent of Daleks escaped from the void and took over the Kit Kat factory and are using their wafer part bits to hide tiny atomisers that once absorbed will have a reaction in the human body and cause them to create huon energy, allowing the daleks to return on masse.

or something silly like that.

OH and today i was watching this episode of Ben 10 with my brother, it was actually a pretty cool episode, obeying the laws of sci-fi and all, with the concept of an alternate dimension weapon.

So the evil alien dude cut ben's hand with the omnitrix of with an alternative dimensions weapon, which sent Ben's hand to the "null void," which, like in all a sciffy universes with alternate dimensions, was the space between dimensions area.

Anyway, when trying to get it back, Gwen asked Kevin if it was possible to retrieve his hand. So Kevin says:
"Just reverse the polarity!"
and i immediately stood up and shouted
 "OF THE NEUTRON FLOW!!!!!!!!!!!"

DOCTOR POP CULTURE REFERENCES FOR THE WIN!

(Physics kids is that even possible?)

Actually i had a dream about doctor who the other day which involved the Doctor and Amy at a picnic with  Rory not even in sight, which at first was confusing, and then we realise madame Korvain set a trap for the Doctor , where all any's friends were robot replicas (like the ones in the big bang 2) and creating replica TARDIS machines, of which were NOT bigger on the inside and contained bombs, and Amy was able to sense which one was the real one, but then as the TARDIS was flying away there was a shot of the REAL AMY AND RORY FIGHTING THE PEOPLE WHO CAUGHT THEM AS THE FAKE TARDISES ALL BLOW UP!!!!

And then the Doctor knew its a fake Amy Robot all along, and reprograms the robot by linking her to the Real Amy's thoughtstream, but it's not actually the Real Amy's thought stream, just the way the real amy would think, (sort of like the flesh which goes independent.) and the fake amy that has the real amy's thought patterns and comforts the doctor, saying she knew it would be fine cause the doctor was going to find the real amy.

And so now when they travel around time, the Doctor realises all these fake amys are everywhere (THEY WERE IN SYDNEY IN MY DREAM LOL) and they had to fight a fake amy

and then i woke up.

and i was sad.

almost as good as a real fuggin episode.

lol

---

I was on 9gag a LONG time ago and i wanted to post about this but i never did so i will now.

Anyway, all these comments were like "lol how pretty."

and then the other half of the comments were people like me, who thought "who ever did this to a beautiful old white antique baby grand should be hung and quartered and burned and then have their remains burned and the de-atomised."

 Really. It's my ideal piano.

Turned into a fracking water feature.

I wept.

---
Also, seeing as ext2 is due soon, and i don't think i'll end up using it, i'm putting up one of the comics i think im cutting out.

Seeing as it will never be seen otherwise.

lol

School today was cool.

Double free today. Studied English in the grass. I think there's nothing nicer than just sitting in the grass and reading, feeling the sun and the breeze. The sun is so nice. I guess vitamin D is good for you after all, so it's all right. As long I don't burn. I burn quite easily.

I like the smell of grass. Grass smells nice. Especially grass that's been slightly crushed from my elbow as I lean on it. Although commenting on the nice smell of grass makes me think of Tangled when Rapunzel when she gets out of her tower for the first time.

"just smell the grass, the dirt, just liked I dreamed they'd be..."

I love disney :D

I really am happy we only have to do two speeches for essay. Now I can do Atwood and Suu Kyi's speeches without having to find another link with another speech. :) love their speeches, such powerful speeches on women. Although Atwoods is the best. :D

But sedat isn't too bad. I admire his push for peace. I could relate that and Suu Kyi.

... The problem I find with English essays is that i have too much to wirte and I have nowhere to start.

---
So in Drama we had to hand in a 300+ word piece about why we want to perform the piece we want to perform.

Basically you have to crap about stuff.

Just thought I'd show you what I wrote and what I mean.

-----
Student: Alysha Mah
Individual project type: Monologue
Title of project: Edith Piaf from Songs for Nobodies

1.      Whyyou choose this particular project?

On Sheet Answer: I chose to perform a monologue because I really like performing. I find that performing allows me to express personal thoughts and emotions. Performing is alsoa great outlet for my creativity and stress, a real benefit to any HSC student.

I took along time to decide on any particular piece, as I was struggling to find a piece I really identified with. When I went to watch Songs for nobodies I was really moved by the Piaf section, as I havealways held a great admiration for Piaf as a vocalist.

The monologueI chose is particularly unique as it involves singing as part of the performance.I have a great love for musical performance. Thus I felt that by finding apiece that combines both dramatic and musical performance was something that I greatly desired to perform.

What I was actually thinking: Originally, I wanted to not perfom at all. I wanted to send in written work on a costume design concept. I was really excited about it. But I couldn’t get my costume design concept right. I kept getting shut down. Then I got so fed up with it I burnt it all and went to do monologue. I chose a monologue with song in it because I would stand out. That’s it.

2.      Whatare your strengths in that field?

On Sheet Answer: In terms of the musical aspect of my individual project, I have studied music ever since I was six years old. I have performed music in concerts, including in bands, piano recitals, and vocal performances since I was seven. In terms of vocal performances, I also have experience in the area, composing my own pieces and performing at school concerts, church services, and gigs. I have also won singing competitions.

In terms ofthe monologue itself, I have a reasonable ability to maintain a British accent, which is what is called for in the monologue. It also requires transformational acting, which I have experience in due to previous performances.

What i was actually thinking: I think I can sing. Gigs basically mean performing at relative's weddings and birthday parties. Singing competition was in 4th grade where i came first in a talent contest. And the British accent is the only one I can maintain for long enough, other than “stupid bitchy American girl” accent.

3.      Howyou are preparing that project?

On Sheet Answer:I am preparing for the project by watching English television shows to studydifferent English accents. I am also going to a vocal tutor to attempt to trainmy voice as to properly imitate Edith Piaf’s singing style.

What I was actually thinking: LOL WHAT PREPARATION? I've read the script once, talked to a friend who teaches music who randomly meets up with at church, and watch a lot of Doctor Who.

DOCTOR WHO IS TEH GREATEST!!!!!

GET IT? CAUSE THE DOCTOR HAS TWO HEARTS???? HAHAHAHAHAHA.

packed weekend

Relay for life and Red shield appeal door knocking. :D

Although i didn't stay for the whole of relay for life, the time i was there was really cool.

I hope i can do the whole 24 hours next year.

I wonder i KF told people about my fangirl moment.

Door knocking made me think about how stingy some people can be. I made eye contact with this guy as he was hanging up his clothes and he went back inside his house. I thought he was going to meet me at the front door, so i went to the door step to meet him.

And he never came out.

Really, how stingy can you be?

Also i passed by a hoarders house today. It was weird. There was stuff everywhere, and it smelled funny. WH (the troll in my math class. male.) was reluctant to approach. I was too tbh.

anyway here's a meme i couldn't resist about superheroes.

Who's your favourite?
Male Against Male

1. Conan or Superman?
Superman

2. Spiderman or Silver Surfer?
Spiderman, spiderman, he can swing, from a web, look out!!!!!! here comes spiderman!

3. Captain America or Batman?
OOOOOOH hard choice.
Movie wise, Captain America was hot. Batman was only good cause of The Joker. But since we're talking comic book, I have to choose The Bat.

4. Wolverine or Cyclops?
Wolverine

5. Daredevil or The Phantom?
Daredevil. He's a blind lawyer. (Y)

6. Hellboy or Hulk?
Hulk

7. The Flash or Green Lantern?
If we're talking silver age, i prefer The Flash. Barry Allen is nicer than Hal Jordon. But out of all of the Flashes and Lanterns, John Stewart, Green Lantern is my choice.

8. The Punisher or Blade?
Blade. Obviously.

9. Zorro or Thor?
Thor. :3 that hunk of Norse god. Zorro has no chance against mjolnir.

10. Blade or Spawn?
Blade. Spawn is interesting. But Blade is nuts.

Female Against Female

1. Batgirl or Supergirl?
Supergirl

2. Elektra or Catwoman?
Catwoman.

3. Wonder Woman or Phoenix (Jean Grey)?
Phoenix. Unbeatable. I love Jean Grey. She held the whole world of the X men in her hand. Whoever possesses Jean is a winner. Wonder Woman can't do that much...

4. She-Hulk or She-Ra?
She-Hulk. Isn't She-Ra some kind of Barbie character?

5. Ultra-Violet or Wildstorm?
Ultra-Violet

6. Wonder Woman or Elektra?
Electra. I respect her. Even though she's a villain, she had a hard life and is making the most of what she has. Besides, she only takes on mercenary cases she agrees with. She doesn't just do any random case. She has morals (sort of.) if you read her comic and not just her appearances in other comics then your opinion of her gets better. Diana (Wonder Woman) was an Amazonian Princess who pretty much got whatever she wanted, until she decided to compete (though the queen, her mother, forbade her) to win the title of Wonderr Woman and be the ambassador of the Amazons to the rest of the world.

7. Leeloo or Buffy?
Buffy would win in a fight and down for pure hard coreness, but Leelo, the fifth element, is unforgettable. She's a unique character who gave her life up for earth.

Rory Williams jokes

WARNING. THIS ENTIRE POST IS BASED ENTIRELY ON WHO CULTURE. IF YOU ARE NOT A WHOVIAN, DON'T BOTHER READING THIS AT ALL, AS NOT ONLY WILL YOU PROBABLY NOT GET IT, YOU WILL ALSO FIND THIS TEDIOUS AND BORING.

DISCLAIMER. DO NOT READ IF YOU INTEND TO WATCH DOCTOR WHO (OR IF I INTEND TO FORCE YOU TO WATCH DOCTOR WHO AHEM JAMES) ANYTIME SOON, AS THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS AND WILL RUIN THE SUSPENSE OF AN ENTIRE THREE SEASON'S WORTH. DON'T DO IT IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE WHATSOEVER.

On another note, hi to all ruse nerds who may be reading this. I love you guys.

At times like this I think of how I rant a lot about geeky stuff. Like that time, when I was at KF's house, and he was like "Alysha, you're such a geek." And I was like "No I'm... Yes. Yes I am."

I just wanted to talk about Rory Williams, as currently in who culture he seems to hold a position of undefeatable bad assery. And he'll be leaving this season. :(

RORY WILLIAMS IS THE NEW CHUCK NORRIS JOKES
  •  I'm Sorry. Rory Williams is not the new Chuck Norris, because that implies there was something before Rory Williams.
  • The TARDIS doesn’t need to refuel at the Cardiff rift any more.  It is powered by Rory’s awesomeness.
  • Rory Williams cleans bed pans by scaring the crap out of them.
  • The TARDIS calls Rory  ”the pretty one” because there’s no Gallifreyan Word for “ultimate stud muffin”.
  • Rory Williams was erased from time and it messed things up so badly the universe had to be rebooted.
  • Amy Pond married Rory Williams because Chuck Norris wasn’t man enough for her.
  • They built the Pandorica to hold the Doctor because trying to hold Rory Williams would be just plain stupid.
  • The Silence wishes they could forget seeing Rory Williams.
  • Rory Williams doesn’t need a device to time travel. It simply shifts to whatever time Rory Williams says it is.
  • A Dalek begged River Song for mercy because it knew who her father was. River Song granted the Dalek mercy by shooting it in the eye instead of calling her father.
  • The Daleks asked Steven Moffat to retire them because they didn’t want to fight Rory Williams.
  • The House entity messed with Amy’s mind because messing with Rory’s mind would have popped the bubble universe. Loudly.
  • River Song asked the Storm Cage guards to dress like Roman Centurions.  She has daddy issues.
  • 100 Lesbian Dinosaur women agree: Rory Williams tastes like raw Habanero and Win.
  • Rome Fell because the Emperor Honorious tried to open the Pandorica while Rory Williams was guarding it.
  • The Dream Lord created two dreams that were obviously fake. In one there was a cold star that violated the laws of thermodynamics. In the other Rory Williams died.
  • Look up the word “loyalty” in the Dictionaria Galactica and you will see a picture of Rory Williams with the caption “Top this, bitches!”
  • Rory Williams’ Jelly Babies aren’t made from real babies.  They’re made from real Dalek babies.
  • Rory Williams is the only man who could father a part-Time Lord human with his wife dressed as a police woman while traveling through the time vortex in a TARDIS that thinks he’s the pretty one…in bunk beds!
  • Rory isn’t worried that Amy is going to run off with the Doctor, but the Doctor is worried that the TARDIS is going to run off with Rory.
  • The Gamma Forest writing translated Melody’s name as River Song because there was no equivalent word for “daughter of supreme awesomeness”.
  • What’s left of the 12 Cyber Legion is now a Peruvian Folk band called Rory’s Runaways.
  • Rory Williams supports recycling. When he was plastic he recycled himself into a human being.
  • On the day the Doctor defeated an army in 3 minutes and 42 seconds he still took orders from Rory Williams. “Oi! You! Get in here! Now!”
  • Rory Williams doesn’t need regenerations to beat death. He uses his bare hands.
  • The Doctor left Demon’s Run in a hurry because he knew that Rory was about to find out he’d been sonic-ing his daughter.
  • Rory Williams gave Rasillon a warning for leaving stuff lying scattered through time and space and said that next time he’d fine him.
  • Rory Williams remembered himself back to existence.
  • Rory Williams has died and returned to life so many times, Kenny wants his autograph.
  • At night children check their closet for the boogyman, at night the boogyman checks his closet for Chuck Norris, at night Chuck Norris checks his closet for Rory Williams.
  • Legend has it that Rory Williams once repeated a question. In retrospect, the event was called the Big Bang.
  • If at first you don’t succeed, you’re not Rory Williams.
  • When Amy and his daughter got kidnapped, Rory got so angry that Darth Vader felt a disturbance in the force in a galaxy far far away.
  • Rory Williams walked home from Gilligan’s Island.
  • In the library, River calls the tenth Doctor “pretty boy”. Little does she know, the TARDIS calls her father the same thing.
  • River Song granted a Dalek mercy by shooting it in the eye, rather than calling her father.
  • Rory Williams is so awesome that the most used font is named in his honor.
  • It takes billions of years of exposure to the untempered scizm to create a time lord. Or ONE night with Rory Williams.

  • Rory Williams once punched the Eleventh Doctor. The First Doctor felt it.
  • The universe tried to erase Rory once. It exploded
  • Rory Williams makes "your mum" jokes to vampires.
  • Death cannot stop Rory Williams, all it can do is delay him for a while.
  • The cybermen wish they could be upgraded into Rory Williams.
  • Rory Williams just walks into Mordor.
  • Rory Williams punched Hitler in the face. And then locked him in the closet.
CLASSIC RORY WILLIAMS/HARRY POTTER CROSS OVER
  • Voldemort is afraid to speak the name of Rory Williams.
  • The core of the elder wand is actually a piece of Rory Williams hair
  • Rory Williams stole Voldemort's nose
  • One time, a dementor kissed Rory Williams. It died.
  • Rory Williams requires neither Horcruxes, Hallows, nor regeneration to throw Death the figurative middle finger. On multiple occasions.

Fun facts:
  • Amy made Rory dress up as 'The raggedy Doctor' ever since the were children. Role playing this way, he decided to get into the medical profession.
  • He waited 2000 years for Amy to wake up in the Pandorica.

   CLOSING NOW.
