Christmas, Les Mis, and Wreck it Ralph

Well, Christmas time is always hectic in my family. I had an awesome Christmas, and I hope you did too!

My family went to watch les mis, and no joke i cried the entire movie. haha. it's really really good guys. Though i might not be willing to watch it with you since i will cry the entire time and look kind puffy eyed and blind and blotchy when we get out. (Which is apparently what happenned when we left :P)

Also watched Wreck it Ralph with my younger cousins. The film was cute! I loved it! It kinda appealed to my geeky side as well as my disney childhood obessessive side and also my emotional side (I kinda tear jerked a bit... BUT then again I always cry in movies haha)

Also i saw this on the internet. Freaky.

Chatbot talks to Chatbot.

The last question totally freaked me out.

Also.

DOCTOR WHO CHRISTMAS SPECIAL RTJQA83U96GQKU18325F67!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CLARA OSWIN OMFG SHE COULD BE MY FAVOURITE COMPANION NOW. I was a  Sarah Jane enthusiast but boooooooooooooooooooooy if her story turns out good i might really really like her. I love her personality already. :D

bye guys

Almost Christmas!

It's almost Christmas :D :D :D

And the only reason i know is because of the ever increasing hours of orchestra practice we have until the actual Christmas Eve concert, haha.

To bribe us, the conductor, (We call her Aunty, like real asians lol) give us monogrammed cookies and also cookies with faces. She's a professional baker as well as music teacher! So she's really good at both cookies and yelling at us when we're off a semitone. lol.

TBH, sometimes, i get SO sleepy during rehersals, that I fall asleep at the piano, and I wake up finding myself playing the final chord. And AuntyS is all "you played very well" and I don't really know how I finished the piece... lol

Tomorrow it's Christmas eve! Or I think it's today by the time I post this haha. Do you guys have any plans? I can't wait for Christmas, with our present openings and Christmas foods. :D :D :D I'M SO EXCITED!

Do you have any family traditions at Christmas? In my family, everyone wakes up early to open presents, and then we go to a church service, and then I help my mum make food for Christmas lunch, which is taken at my YehYeh's place (So my Dad's parents lol) and my grandma makes like a bajillion dishes, no joke. Then we head to my PorPor's (mum's mum) and we eat MORE food (and prep more food), all the while picking up and giving out presents.

It's a very fattening and fulfilling day.

Tomorrow i'm going to go baby sit before going to the concert, (as in orchestra, not some crazy fun event lol) and i'm doing christmas crafts and baking cookies with the kids! It's going to be hella fun haha. I hope. lol.

If you're interested, i'm making this recipe.

Basic Shortbread (about 14-16 cookies [big ones])

Ingredients
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 225g unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • decorations optional

Directions
  1. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment. Wisk together flour and salt. In the bowl of a mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat butter until fluffy, 3 to 5 minutes. Add sugar, and continue to beat until pale and fluffy, occasionally scraping down the sides of bowl, about 2 minutes more. Beat in vanilla. Add flour mixture, and mix on low speed, scraping sides if necessary, until flour is just incorporated and dough sticks together when squeezed with fingers.
  1. Turn out dough, forming into 2 disks; wrap each in plastic. Refrigerate until firm, at least 1 hour.
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Roll out 1 disk to a 1/2centimetre thickness. Cut out shapes using cookie cutter, and transfer to prepared baking sheets. Reroll scraps. Repeat with remaining disk. Indent cookies with desired stamps. Refrigerate until firm, at least 30 minutes. Bake until firm and golden, 13 to 15 minutes. Let cool completely on a wire rack.

yum yum yum cookies

Bye guys!

English tutoring

Soooooooooooooooooo how'd you guys find your HSC marks? AHEM SHELLEY SHE JUST SAYING WTHECK HOW CAN YOU BE SO SMART AND BEAUTIFUL AND BEASTLY TAKING OUT STATE RANKS EVERYWHERE. (plz have my babies. Then they will be smart and beautiful and incredibly imaginary, because that's not possible, sadly. Which you would know because you state ranked bio. In which case, I'm sad because I love gurl, cos you are amazballs. And James is now feeling threatened.)

I find it freaky, because after putting my marks into an ATAR calculator, it told me I would get 92.1. And I dreamt I got 92. :O

I HAVE FUTURE PREDICTING QUALITIES!!!!

(in b4 I get 91 tomorrow hahaha)

Haha actually after I got my marks I went and changed my preferences to more realistic goals. So sad lol.

I don't think I can sleep tonight. So tense for ATAR. I could barely sleep last night. Luckily no work tomorrow ^.^

I was so tired today I bought a coffee from the local cafe during lunch whilst tutoring. Haha actually I slept for like 4 hours, and I felt more awake today than I did yesterday, when I slept for like 10. Mysteries of life.

So I've been tutoring this year 6 kid for selective. (his mum runs the Pre-uni I work at, so she asked me to tutor her kid) I'm his specific English tutor. She asks other tutors to teach math and GA depending on their skills :p I was kinda happy because he wanted his mum to make me his permanent everything tutor haha. :D he likes me! Yayayayayayay. Even though I'm strict, I guess he laughs a lot, so that's ok.

A deal we made is that when he writes a short story with stimulus, I have to write one too. I don't mind, because we have very different ideas and writing styles, so he can learn from mine.

But today I actually really liked what I wrote, so with some extra polishing and a bit more writing (they only get 20 minutes to write their short story! It's so fast! I struggle to complete anything because I'm used to double the time haha... Stupid HSC)

The stimulus I gave him was a picture of an old wooden box with gold lettering that read "do not open." I told him that the character disobeys and he has to write about what happens. He was pretty excited haha.

He writes well, with great ideas. But his writing is a bit basic and lacks good grammatical structure. I helped him structure his writing better already, so now it has a clear plot line. But now I need to help him be above acceptable. He needs to be brilliant >:3 (haha alysha's annoying English perfectionist streak returns! Although English is the only thing i did well in, apart from legal, so makes sense I guess.)

Anyway his mum has noted clear improvement, so she wants me to come more haha. On boxing day! Right after Christmas! As the day after! Shes kinda sad I'm going overseas for 3 weeks, because I can't work with him haha. But I'm so excited! Yayayayayayay overseas!

I'm ranting.

Anyway you don't have to read the next part, because I've probably lost ability to write over the non-HSC-period. Though I did nano. But that wasn't very good. I suppose this isn't very good either... More writing may come up, seeing as I have to write every time he does haha...

Alysha rant writing Yayayayayayay! Or not... haha :3

---

Humans can never obey orders.

It's in our nature.

We can't help it.

A part of us wants to rebel. To break free of obligations and rules. To go wherever we want. To do whatever we want. Regardless of what other people say.

A park bench is infinitely more interesting when it is labelled 'wet paint.' You always have a compulsive desire to touch it, confirm that it is, indeed, wet paint, and that you should, indeed, not touch it.

People always want to do the opposite of what they are told.

So when a mysterious package that was simply labelled 'do not open' appeared on the doorstep of young Sally Nightingale, what else was she to do?

Naturally, she was fulled with an immediate and pressing need to open the box and discover it's contents.

However, this was a difficult task. The box was fairly small, but it was a heavy box of beaten metal that shone with a dull silver light. There was a lid and a hinge, but no latch.

Sally had a frustrating time trying to open it. There didn't appear to be a seal, yet the box remained firmly shut. There were no buttons on it's side, and even after shaking it, the box did not budge.

Just when she began to lose hope and start feeling depressed, the lid made a small clicking noise. It had opened by itself. (Perhaps the box was sentient.)

The object that was hidden inside was odd.

Her initial reaction was one of awe. Her second was deep concern, and her third was downright fear.

The small peak inside that Sally exposed herself to when the box opened slightly, enough for the lid to be ajar, was a vision of light. A warm, yellow light that seemed to hum with with energy and reminded her of sunlight breaking through clouds after a storm.

With a trembling hand, Sally raised the lid a centimetre higher.

Instantly, she was hit with a giddy sensation of ecstasy. It reminded her of her 4th birthday, the last birthday her entire family was together, the day at the beach when she was 16 and carefree, her first kiss in the pouring rain with a guy she thought she was destined to be with, and numerous days where she could sit back and just sleep, all rolled into one second of feeling.

She collapsed, her chest heaving, gasping for air. The pure emotions swirling inside her, powerful shots of memories, mixed with warm bubbles of joy. It shot through her brain like champagne, and left her feeling warm and happy.

She wasn't quite sure what is the box, but she knew it was something strong. Amazingly strong, bringing her memories out like that.

And then she stopped, concerned. What if it was some kind of wonderdrug, trying to capture a new victim that would pay excessive amounts for their next hit?

If it was a drug, she had a responsibility to hand the box to the police.

She swallowed her concern and pushed open the lid all the way.

It felt as if she was floating on cold fire. Head thrown back, she shrieked with joy and the rush she was experiencing, the pure exhilaration.

And then the lid snapped shut, and she lay on the ground, breathless with fear and wonder.

The box seemed to be full of something strange. An energy source? A drug?

She wondered how it came to her.

But what it was, she was certain of it.

Inside the box, was pure happiness.

Christmas is coming!

At work, my boss keeps saying how much she is looking forward to christmas haha :) She paid me in advance, so I went on a huge shopping spree and bought pretty much all my Christmas presents for this year! I spent SO MUCH MONEY!!!! (inward sob) Like two weeks worth of pay. (cries openly) I hope everyone likes their presents! haha

Wrapping is always my favourite part, because... i dunno. I like wrapping.

I was looking for cool printable tags to put on with the cards, and I made some of my own, but here's an awesome link to print lots of cool tags if you're thinking of wrapping presents too!

Yesterday was really fun at the connect, we played Jungle speed! Which reminds me that the jungle speed i ordered online still hasn't arrived yet. I'm not sure if it'll be here before Christmas :(

Are you guys nervous about ATAR? I'm somewhat concerned.

Also, I've been going around humming Christmas carols under my breath. lolol

*I SHOULD BE PLAYING IN THE WINTER'S SNOW, BUT IMMA BE UNDER THE MISTLE TOE WITH YOOOOOOOOOOU, SHAWTY WIT YOU, WITH YOUUUUUUUUUUUUU, SHAWTY WITH YOU, WITH YOOOOOOOOOOOOU, UNDER THE MI-STLE TOOOOOOOOE*

I'm losing it.

Sister luncheon

My sis skipped school today. What a bad kid.

She woke me up at 10 and was all like "LET'S GO OUT FOR LUNCH!!!!"

To which the just-woken-up-semi-zombified me replied "mffeepenohpecombarkter"

Which roughly translated to "im sleeping now. Please come back later"

So she said "I'll be back at 11"

And I rolled over and continued my nightmarish dream about my English advanced paper, where all the HSC supervisors decided to leave halfway through and there was like no more paper and I had to write my entire short story (I used 5 booklets) on one side of an a5 sheet of paper. Futhermore, on the other side of the paper was math questions, and if I wanted to get the paper I need to solve it, and we only had like 10minutes left and all I was thinking was "OMFG IM GOING TO FAIL ENGLISH AND THEN I WILL FAIL HSC AND MY ATAR WILL BE BAD"

And then I dreamt the ATAR came out and JJ got 99.7 and I got 92 and I cried.

I'm very frightened for ATAR results :/ Have you guys had any post-traumatic HSC nightmares?

And then my sister came back cause it was 11.

And she was looking at all this like kpop stuff on my computer and I was like "whzxtjlsatnqhuyeroonyputer?"

Which translates to "what's that? Why are you on my computer?"

And then she proceeds to tell me how it's so amazing, this chick who's been in the industry for so many years, like 15 years or something, and she's so old now.

And I'm like "how old?"

And she's like "26"

so she started training when she was like 11.

WHICH IS SO RIDICULOUS.

HOW CAN YOU START TRAINING FOR SOMETHING  AT THE AGE OF 11? ESPECIALLY FOR SOMETHING LIKE A MUSIC INDUSTRY?

It's just so wrong on so many levels.

---

so we went out for lunch, and then we went to this Korean restaurant in Eastwood. AND IT WAS SUPER SPICY!

but they gave us nice sides :)

Look at my derp. And then my sister is so pretty :p

Also as we were leaving there was this old mando man, he looked about 80, who had an accident of some kind. There was heaps of blood and his wife was crying and I just stood there and kind of wished I was remotely helpful.

Yeah...

Holidays

Hello! I haven't been here for a while haha... I know, this isnt very regular at all. But I've been doing a lot :p

Anyway, I hope you guys have been spending your holidays well! Mine's mostly been jam packed with work and my new found obsession with gaming haha...

I got a new computer! It's a desktop, since I wanted one anyway, and it was cheap. The laptop I want come out in January so I'm going to save up until then :3

I finished at the full time place! Kinda sad, but I was only there as a casual contract :p I'm working at a tutoring centre and babysitting now :p also when the new school term starts I'll be teaching musicianship :p

I havent gone out that much this holidays though :( I probably should go out more. This week I want to go out everyday :D so Monday was connect (which is this just-out-of-high-school Christian group) which was actually was pretty fun, went out for dinner and froyo after haha.

Erm tuesday was LL 18th, where much funz were had which spontaneous beatboxing and dancing and Partying in the USA hahaha. Ngawww NC so cute >.< then games till 3:30am Hahahaha I'm not addict I swear :p

Today was really really fun :) went City with church people who all harassed me about JJ lelele. We played pool and I'm really bad at it >.< I can't hit straight, I always 'jump' the ball lol. Though apparently jumping the ball is like super pro. Haha. But I found it really fun :D should go again next time.

Kareoke was the BEST. I've only been K three times, and I know I love it haha... But I guess I'm not surprised by that :p

Omg I was so tired that I fell asleep on the train home and missed my stop so I had to get off at Cheltenham and I was like "omg how to get to other side of the station?????" and then I saw their was a bridge so I walked the length of the platform and there were no stairs! So I was really confused. Then I stalked this woman who was leaving the platform and realised you had to go out, around the corner, then the stairs were there, and then go around again. And I was like "oooooooh" lol.

It took me like 10 minutes to work it out Hahahaha... So sad.

I'm steadily going broke. I need to babysit again, to get some more cash. The kids I usually take care of left for hong long for two weeks. But they just got back, so I should be working on Monday :D yayyayayayyay work.

Oh on last Saturday, I had a work party at this Korean restraint called Gangnam haha.

I've been practicing really hard for the Christmas Eve Orchestra concert at my church :) piano none stop. Rehersals at my church go from 12:45 to 4 :o super long and tiring haha. :p but it'll be worth it ^^

One thing I like about orchestra is that everyone sounds so pretty together, and every instrument has an important part. Flutes/violins carry soprano, sax/clarinet/violin play alto, and Tenor sax/piano/cello play bass. And the drums/guitar on rhythm. It's fun being on piano in Orchestra because it's very easy and you get no where near as tired as everyone else because all you have to do is move your hands haha. And pedal. Also, you get to improvise a lot, and choose what you want to play, because there usually are parts missing because no one plays tuba or euphonium, so you can play those parts as well :D also you don't get yelled at as much HAHAHAHHA. Or maybe that's just me haha.

Sorry for the somewhat rant :p

Walking home right now, someone is using a sprinkler in their garden, and it smells so nice. Petrichor! Yay for Dr Who!

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE CHRISTMAS SPECIAL GUYS! EVIL ZOMBIE SNOWMEN YARGGH!

If you ever want to play games with me, just Skype/steam/Facebook me, I'll 80% be online and willing to play haha.

byeeeeeeeeeeeeee guys

James Ruse formal

As I wipe away the black from my eyes that my fairy godmother my sister put in for me today, I feel somewhat like Cinderella after midnight. Except of course, I got home at about 12:45. But that is irrelevant.

My feet kill, and I could barely walk by the end of the extra 500m up hill I had to trek to get to where my dad parked the car.

My shoes are dirty, my dress is slightly ripped, and there is so much hair spray and bobby pins up in my hair when I take everything out, it ends up as super stuff, tight curls that I have to pull apart.

I wonder if Cinderella hurt this much after her ball. I suppose the dancing waltz in glass slippers would kill more than ordinary stilettos. Still, even without dancing (much) it hurts.

And Cinderella had to run home! The poor thing. She lived so far away from the castle as well. Thank goodness for cars.

I don't know why I am saying this cinderella business. Perhaps it's because I felt like a different but the same person in some ways? I don't make sense. It's the magic of make up I assume. Probably because I never use it, when people put it on for me I'm like whut is that person me? Haha.

Also probably because for the first time I felt I was actually beautiful.

Oh wow I can't believe I wrote that.

It's so superficial and all.

But the fact that I can now say yes to those blog surveys that ask "have you ever been told you look beautiful by a complete stranger?" is depressingly gratifying.

In a very badly non-feminist way.

I think that, sometimes, I'm not very feminist at all. Probably just things about workplace and education. In other words, in regards to human rights. Everything else is dictated by culture. But you shouldn't be limited to that if you don't want to... Am I making sense? I guess that, since im choosing to behave in this manner, I'm independent, and thus not oppressed by males, and thus free to embrace radical feminism as i wish, but not?

I should talk to David lol.

---

Back to formal, it was really fun :) so different from baulko though. Baulko is a bit more wild lol. But the venue is gorgeous. I wish I could have taken a night view of it, but I only had my iPhone and we couldn't go outside.

The food was... Mediocre. Lol. But maybe I had the crappier menu :p

I got a balloon to take home :D it's currently floating above my bed :)

I'm so tired, I have work tomorrow and everything.

Today made me pumped for baulko formal.

My mind keeps jumping from thing to thing.

I should buy bracelets for Kevin for Christmas :D

My nano is going crap. I have no time. I'll have to cram it when I finish working, or else ill never finish :(

One more thing.

Hey Shelley :) You were obvs the highlight of my night ;D Thanks for your kind words about this rantyness :p although that actually goes for all my readers haha, few as you are :)

I'm so tired.

I'm getting a new laptop soon! I'll photograph it's arrival.

I'll edit this post and add pictures in tomorrow. I want to sleep now.

Night.

Practically Professional.

So I've started working 9 to 5.

It's pretty tiring.

Although I don't even do much. Just reception and packing and things.

The best thing is they have a coffee machine. It's been fueling my caffeine addiction.

Although sometimes I am unsure as to whether I like coffee or coffee flavored hot sugary milk :p

It's nice here, it's a small company and everyone's really friendly :)

I think it's cause it's a family business, so everyone is close cause there's so few people. My cousin's (in law? He married my cousin) dad heads the group, so as the eldest son he mostly helps run it. The the other brother does accounts and shipping. And they have a bunch of people as well as me :D

---

My cousin was driving me back home, talking about what I want to do in the future. When I told him I wanted to work in a big law firm or as an in house lawyer. And then he was like "i hope I'm not being too chauvinistic, but I'm assuming you want to get married and have children. So won't you be working for like 5-6 years before you have kids? And then you'll leave work. The greatest thing is if you marry the right guy and never have to work and stay at home taking care of the kids. If you work at a big law firm, won't you be at the bottom for 5years? And then you'll have to leave. It's too sad."

And I didn't say anything. You guys impressed? Lol.

Anyway, I don't think majority of families in our society can afford to live on a single income. So regardless I'll probably not stop working completely ever. EVER.

Besides, I like the idea of climbing that corporate ladder :p

 ---

Something I do at work is flick through home design magazines to try and did references to the company products. It's really fun, cause I like interior design :p

if I had money I would totally renovate houses and such :D (I decided a while ago if I failed HSC and got like 60ATAR I'll go do interior design and embrace my poor poor future, where you're a vegetarian/vegan only because you can't afford meat LOLOL.)

But yeah, flicking through this stuff, it kinda makes me want to take all the magazines home and make scrap books lol.

 Or get a pininterest.

I've wanted one for a while, but haven't acted upon yet.

We'll see if I do lol.

---

Because I'm working all the time, I come home and I'm pretty tired, so I haven't written much for nano. I've taken to handwriting some of it out in a notebook during work to try and catch up. But now I have no idea what the word count is.

AHHHH.

I'll have to type like crazy on a Saturday.

But I wanted to go to the markets on saturday :(

oh wells.

---

I taught my mum how to play this ps3 game the other day, now she can't wait everyday for me to come home and play with her lol. So cute. (she refuses to play with my siblings cause try need to study haha)

she was like to me while we were gaming "I don't want you to go to work... I don't have work tomorrow so I wanna play with you." Ngawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww :)

Although the gaming is cutting into my writing time, I can't help it. She's so cute :3

Also congrats to all those kids who've finished after chem :D welcome to freedom lol. :D

have a meme to celebrate.

EPILEPSY IN 3,2,....

ALSO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK ABOUT DISNEY MAKING NEW STAR WARS FILMS????

Sunday, November 4, 2012

AVbyte

So they might be my new favourite channel.

They make musicals of crazy things. including a doctor who one.

Each musical thing is like 3 minutes long.

They're really cool!

Thanks to MH for the tip off, i'll be sure to watch them every week from now on haha.

Just some of the cooler ones.

Yup. Love musicals.

Also, if you watch it, don't you think the Ariel in the disney princess hipster video is SO PRETTY??????

And also, best line ever. "If a tree falls in the forest and there's no one there to hear it you can bet we bought the vinyl." HAHA

WIBBLY WOBBLY TIMEY WHIMEY MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

---
Figured I might as well do a survey, since it's not much on this post lol

1: What eye color do you find sexiest?
Green? Or like those mix colours of blue/green

2: White, milk, dark chocolate or mocha?
Just give me actual coffee! Erm probably just normal milk chocolate haha.

3: If you could get a Sharpie tattoo on your back, what would it be?
Erm probably a bird of some kind? Not sure lol. Or a cool sentence. Like "if a tree falls in the forest and nobody's there to hear it you can bet I bought the vinyl HAHAHAHA"

4: Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?
"Grew up in a small town...." - Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway. Don't know why that's the first thing that came to my head. Erm big town? Technically we're all in the Sydney area.

5: Your favorite adult as a child? (and not your parents, if they were your favorite)
Erm my grandma? haha. If not counting family, I guess my favourite adult as a little kid was my family friend's mum. We call her Aunty K. She's cool.

6: What kind of smoothie sounds really good right now?
Boost's Green Tea Mango Mantra. Mhmmmmm.

7: Most embarrassing moment from your elementary school years?
Hrm probably when I climbed a tree to pick cicada shells and my skirt ripped. I had to wear the jumper tied around my waist for the rest of the day, even though it was really cold lol.

8: Most embarrassing moment from your middle school years?
Middle school is yr7-9 right? Erm have to say it was when I was walking out of a train and almost fell into the gap, so i grabbed this really skinny asian guy from Normo next to me to stop me from falling in. He nearly did a flip from the sudden movement. I felt really bad afterwards... awks.

9: Most embarrassing moment from your high school years?
ah 10-12. lesse, I think it might have been when I was caught in the band lockers and someone walked in. awks.

10: Pirates or ninjas? Why?
I think ninjas, because ninjas are ninjas. They can jump around through trees and stuff. It's cool. Kunoichi powers! I don't think they let women even be pirates. Ninjas seem more of a gender equal skill group.

11: Have you ever climbed a tree more than twenty feet off the ground?
20ft = 6m. So no. The highest tree I went up was like 3metres.

12: Did you like swinging as a child? Do you still get excited when you see a swing set?
Yes, and hell yes. I love swings :3

13: If you could have any pet in the world, illegal or not, what would you get?
See, the question is illegal or not. You didn't ask real or not. I'm disappointed.
Erm, if I could have any pet, I'd like an elephant. Then I could ride it. Or a white tiger. I like tigers.

14: What's your most favorite part of your body?
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha..... I don't really have one. Erm, my neck? lol. It's pretty long, I guess. My sister nicknamed me giraffe because of it.

15: What's your most favorite part of your personality?
Erm well, I think I'm fairly laid back. I like being laid back? (This is a weird question)

16: Madonna or Lady Gaga? Neither? Both? Who cares?
Who cares.

17: Have you ever watched the Superbowl all the way through?
The only reason I know what the Superbowl is, is due to How I Met Your Mother.

18: Have you ever watched any major sporting event drunk?
I have never gotten drunk. And I've never watched any major sporting event. The two together is slightly ridiculous for me.

19: What's the most delicious food you've ever eaten in your life?
That is a good question. To which I answer, I have no idea. It's hard to decide with food. I like food too much. Though it might be that macaroon I bought in Paris.

20: Margarine or butter? Which did you grow up with?
Butter. I grew up with butter as well.

21: Whole, skim, 1%, or 2% milk? (Did you know they make 1 1/2% milk?)
I don't event know what 1% milk is. Or 2% for that matter. Is that like mostly water? I dunno. We drink lite.

22: Which continents have you been on?
Australian, North America, Europe.

23: Do you get motion sickness? Any horror stories?
Not really, I can get a bit dizzy in the car if I'm not feeling well that day, but other than that nope.
And I hate horror stories.

24: Backpacks or satchels?
Both? My dream bag is a satchel shaped backpack.

Kind of like this:

25: Would you wear a rainbow jacket? A neon yellow sweater? Checkered pants?
No, Maybe, HELL YES.

26: What was your favorite cartoon growing up?
I loved all disney cartoons. I think my absolute favourite is Kim Possible. :)

27: If you had to have a cow or a pig, which would you take? Why?
Cow, cause I like milk. haha.

28: If you had to look at one city skyline for the rest of your life, which would it be?
Erm New York? Or Kyoto. For very different reasons. But probably New York.

29: Longest plane ride you've ever been on?
France to Korea. 12 hours. 1 hour break. Korea to Australia. 11 hours.
That was exhausting.

30: The latest you've ever slept?
I've done all nighters. So I think it would be like 12am the following day.

31: Would you buy a sweater covered in kitten pictures? Would you wear it if someone gave it you for free?
Probably wouldn't buy it. I might wear it at home if it was warm.

32: Do you pick at scabs?
Yes. It's a huge annoyance for my mum.

33: Favorite kind of bean? Kidney? Black? Pinto?
Probably Soybean? lol. But if you want a white bean I like butterbeans and chickpeas.

34: How far can you throw a baseball?
Not that far. Maybe 2 meters, 2.5 if i'm lucky.

35: If you had to move to another country, where would you move?
erm, about 32% says France, 28% Japan, 15% England, 15% America.
Probably France.

36: Have you ever eaten Ethiopian food? Vietnamese? Korean? Nepalese? How was it?
Nope, Yes, Yes, Nope. I love Viet and Korean food! So yummy :3

37: Small, liberal arts school or public university? Why?
Liberal Arts at a Public University. Whoot. Why? Cause it's cheaper.

38: A relationship with love or one with sex?
Wouldn't there be both? But sex without love is wrong, so has to be love.

39: Do you eat enough vegetables?
Yes. My mum makes sure of that.

40: Do you like horror movies? How about thrillers?
Hell no, no way.

41: Would you scratch a crotch itch in public?
Nope. Go to a bathroom.

42: Do you swear in front of your parents?
Nope.

43: Coolest thing you've ever been for Halloween?
I've only done Halloween once, and that was for Baulko. I was a weird goth person lol. (I just wanted to wear that shirt. It's been sitting in my closet waiting for an opportunity to be worn, and it finally came.)

44: If you could change your natural hair color, would you? To what?
Yes, to dark dark dark midnight blue, so dark it looks black but has flashes of blue. Or burgandy.

45: Do you want to get married? Have kids?
Eventually? But that's so far away. I don't need to worry about it.

46: Do you use a reusable water bottle? If not, you should.
Yes. :p

47: City or nature person?
City! I like my supermarkets and stoves and blankets lol.

48: Have you ever used something other than "makeup" as makeup? (Like paint? Markers?)
Erm i used highlighters to pain my nails. Does that count.

49: Can you walk well in high heels? Even if you're a guy?
Not really very well, I'm quite awkward.

50: Post 5 awesome things about yourself. BRAG AWAY!
erm, I don't really know. I'm reluctant to say anything because people might be like "no, you suck at that" and then I'll be all sad lol.

So NO.

---
2,691 words right now. Hopefully will get to 3,500 by the end of the night :p

How are all your nanos? (if you are doing it lol) if not, how are all your exams/freedom from exams?

HSC IS OVER

Well, it was actually over yesterday, but i couldn't be bothered to write a post haha.

I think I won't be writing much on this throughout November, seeing as I'll be nanowrimo-ing :)

My sister is super nice too me, she bought me a rose to congratulate my finishing :p

I feel very spoiled.

Thanks to my beautiful sister!

My mum went to like church mother's group today, and when she came back she told me they all asked about me.

Ladies: How's Alysha?
M: fine, fine... she just finished, she's very happy
L: OOoooh, is she partying?
M: She just started a writing competition thing, 50k words...
L: ...?
M: And she's looking forward to finish reading all the books she recieved on her birthday
L: wow. That's... healthy.

haha.

Legal Studies cram!

HSC paper for legal is tommorrow!

And all I can think about is the DOCTOR WHO MUSICAL MH told me about on youtube.

Haha.

Actually, that's a lie. I'm thinking alot about legal and justice and all that jazz.

Legal kids, have you prepped your current issues for human rights yet?

I think I've got mine mostly down, since I researched quite a bit about it when I did that speech for YOTY rotary.

Watching this documentary about human trafficking.

Really, these people disgust me. Don't they realise, the millions of dollars they make are made off other people's suffering? How can they live with themselves?

And worse, most of the time women go and tell other women to come. If you can't trust a supposedly nice young lady of the same nationality as you, telling you to come to Australia/UK/USA for a nice au pair job, who are you supposed to trust?

They're exploiting them!

There was this section where they filmed the police during the break-in of one of the ring leaders of the human-trafficking in London, and there was this woman found sleeping on the sofa.

They were unsure about whether she was an accomplice or a victim.

And my mum was like "I hope she's a victim, because I think it's sadder if she's an accomplice."

She was an accomplice.

It's kind of sad really. To think that even females are willing to sell each other.

I mean, I know i'm kind of a femminist (can hear everyone saying kinda??) but it's like, I shouldn't expect women to be like that? Right? I don't know what I'm saying. I guess in a way I expect women to be better than men. Especially in something like the illegal human trafficking industry, where 98% involves sexual oppression. You'd think that, as a fellow woman, you wouldn't be able to stand seeing a girl treated that way. I mean, guys too, but women more so. Because only a girl could completely sympathesise. A guy can't. Not completely. But as girl, you should be able to completely understand her pain, her humilation, her fear.

So I just find it even worse when a woman is involved in human trafficking rings. So much worse.

A horrifying statistic is that there are more people in the illegal human trafficking scheme today than there was in the height of the slave trade.

...

I was talking about this with my dad, going on my usual equity rants (so far he had to put up with my desires for going to Africa as a volunteer and my rant on feminism. woof that one was long, because he fought back haha) and he just looked at me and was like "I'm glad, sounds like you're ready for your legal essay."

And i was like "no, not really."

Legal.

I'm not at all ready for Family section.

(sorry for the heavy rant guys.)

----

Nano! So excited! Thanks to RL and WL who made comments on it haha. I don't know how the quality will turn out, seeing as I'm just going to pour everything out of my head as fast as possible. I need to write about 1500 words a day, so entirely achievable. Especially if i write it on paper at work and then just furiously type things up when i get home haha.

I still have no idea how to use the word count.

BUT I'M EXCITED!

I've been telling literally everyone I meet that i'm doing nano. Then I have to explain what it is.

So the conversation is like

Random: HSC is nearly over for you right?
Alysha: YEAH! I'M SO LUCKY
R: Well what do you plan to do after??
A: WORK!
R: lol besides getting a job
A: NANO!
R: what's that?
A: NaNoWriMo.
R: What?
A: National Novel Writing in a Month
R: Cool. How many words?
A: 50k
R: 50K?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
A: yup
R: That's a lot! (now that i think about it, it is a lot isn't it? lol)
A: Yeah but it'll be fun!
R: You're crazy
A: Yup!

ok back to legal studies guys!

have a doctor who meme

yet for some reason, all these aliens are like "OHMIGERD YOU BELONG IN A MUSEUM YOU ANTIQUE YOU!"

NANO!

OMG NANO STARTS SOON.

I'm actually reaaaaaaaaaallly excited, and very much considering writing at 12:00 instead of studying for legal.

And then I hear MH saying "take Legal as seriously as you take adv!" and I think I shouldn't.

BUT I WANT TO!

I've managed to find some people by stalking around. What a creeper.

I'm so excited gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I think it's probably because I never tried to do it properly, so now I'm really really really excited.

Also, did you see that crazy woman who nano-ed for every month of the year? That's dedication! Although she said she's so excited for this month because it feels like the real thing.

I just realised something ridiculous.

Nano is more than 5 times longer than ext2.

I took a whole year to finish ext2.

whut.

kahahahahahahahahahaha

oh wow.

Just tyed up my synopsis. It's kinda lame and clearly highly ambigous now that I see it actually typed up.

For the previous nano-ers, do you know how to use the word count thing?
----

Just then, my sister asked me what I wanna do after legal.

I was like "nano."

She then informed my parents wanted to celebrate by going out to dinner.

I was like "i gotta nano."

She then hit me.

Love dat family relationship.

---

hehe restorative justice is white people circle sentencing. :P

I should study.

I downloaded this ep by the Baron Sisters, found them on noisetrade, which is a free music site that's ENTIRELY LEGAL lol. It's mainly for not well known artists trying to get their albums out. I've actually found heaps of people i really liked there.

Anyway The Baron sisters are really cute, they kinda remind me of me and my sister. haha.

I shall leave you to your cramming/freedom for you lucky children.

Memory lane

We found a bunch of our old home videos the other day, ones from when I was just a baby and older, like 6 and so.

They made me think about when I was much. much younger. and all these werid random memories i have of when I was just a kid. Isn't it weird how some things can really stand out and others just sort of fade into history? There are some moments I can recall with total clarity and and others I can't remember at all, even when people tell me about it. I'm just like "no, I swear that never happenned to me, you must have the wrong person."

Surprisingly there were some moments that no one in our family had seen before, because we left the camera on the tripod and were doing other things. Like there was this video where my brother was just a baby, and he was trying to break out. My mum catches him, and she pushes the fence back in place and moves a chair on wheels to secure it. Suddenly, the keyboard on the chair falls and the keys come off, so she rushes over to pick it up. And then my brother, while she's picking the keys and putting them back together, pushes the chair and pulls the gate. He then looks at my mum, makes a noise, and realises she isn't turning around. He squeezes past the gate and makes a run for freedom. Luckily my mum notices and jumps the fence, grabs him and then stands in front of the gate for the rest of the day.

My brother is really cheeky.

There also was this video of my kindy christmas performance. I distinctly recall i was asked by my teacher to play Mary, so I was the only kid in the grade to get a solo.

I think I got the performing bug since then :p

But it was a really big moment, when she asked me. I still remember it haha.

Do you guys have any significant moments from your childhood you can really distinctly remember? Most of mine are weird moments, like when i was 4 and i told my mum i really liked celery when i saw it at the shops, so she bought it for me and i hated it. haha.
---

We got a bunch of vinyl records the other day, and my dad bought a vinyl/cassette to mp3 convertor online for $100. It's really cool, we've been playing the records all day. :) Currently my sister is in love with Andy Williams. I have to say, his voice is super seductive. The lyrics are all really beautiful :)You might have heard of him anyway. Moon River is his most famous song, but i personally love "It might as well be spring." But i can't find it on the internet at all.

Which is slightly annoying.

So I can only link Moon River, which is nice, but "It might as well be spring" is beautiful.

Hrm I can find another version though. But his version is the best.

(just searched youtube and couldn't find another male singer version. Female version is nice, but it doesn't have the same 'melt' atmosphere. There is this modern jazz version i found here, which is almost as good, in a completely different way. It starts at about 1 minute in.)

I think i love the lyrics the most.

We actually went out and bought his "greatest all times hits" at JB on sunday when we went shopping, just because it was on sale. We were listening to it in the car.

Listening to them, I really kind of wish I was born in the 1950s, so I could be a teen in the 1960s. :)

I was born in the wrong generation.

Then I could be one of those crazy 60's rockers in the a-line dresses doing crazy twist dances like in those Cliff Richard and Elvis movies I watched as a kid.

---

RL said she doubted anyone would do it, so I did it just because :p

The Cans:
Can you blow a bubble? - Yuo

Can you do a cart wheel? - Yes, I used to do cartwheels all the time at primary school. I can also do a one handed one. And a round off lol.

Can you touch your toes? - Yes, just.
Can you whistle? - Yes! I love songs with whistling, it just makes it that much cooler.

Can you wiggle your ears? - No, i think people who can are awesome though. Haha i read in this book when i was a kid that only red head could wiggle their ears. Or a greater percentage of red heads can wiggle their ears, i forget

Can you wiggle your nose? - Nope. I wish i could! Then i can pretend to be the chick from bewitched.
Can you roll your tongue? - Yes

Can you do the splits?  - That was always something that alluded me. Annoyingly.

The Dids:
Did you ever want to be a doctor? - Actually no. Even though my dad is one, and everyone wants to do what their parents do. I never wanted to do what my parents do. Although my Grandpa bought me a bib when i was a baby that said "future doctor" on it. HAHAHAHA HOW ASIAN IS THAT????? I saw it on the baby videos and i laughed so hard.

Did you ever want to be a fire fighter? - Nope. Although I agree, if i was a boy, i might have seen the attraction of it. But i always like fire, even as a kid. I'm a bit of a pyro. I liked to steal matches and light them in the bathroom with the fan on, cause fire is pretty. (I actually have a box of matches on my study table.)

The Dos:
Do you believe in God?  - Yes
Do you know how to swim? - Yeah, I did squad when i was younger, and i finished Bronze medallion when we did survival swim course.

Do you like roller coasters? - Love them. Whenever we go to parks, i make a point of riding all the rollercoasters more than once. I think me and my sister spent a whole day at the scoobydoo one RL. We went on it like 15 times in a row.

Do you own a bike? – Yes, although i don't ride it much. haha.

Do you like fried rice? – I think it's not really asian if you don't. Although what i noticed at multicultural food fair in history in year 10, was that all families eat different kinds of fried rice. They all do it differently.

Do you think you could be on those reality shows? – Probably. People have commented that my family would be a good sitcom family, seeing as we're all crazy.

The Does?
Does hair loss run through your family? - Nope

Does your car get good gas mileage? - No idea.

Does your family have family picnics? – I'm jelly RL. We don't really go out of the house much haha

Have you ever been to the ocean? - Yes, it's Australia! My family used to have the annual trip down to Jervis Bay.

Have you ever gone skinny dipping? – No, but i think it'd be kinda fun to do it at night alone in some random river in a woodsy place. I'd feel like a naiad.

Have you ever gone fishing? - Yes.  I caught a flathead, and my mum made soup from it. My dad caught a puffer fish haha

The Whats:
What is the temperature outside? – Google says it's 19 degrees
What was the last restaurant you ate at? – Had lunch at the North and South thing in Village.

What was the last thing you bought? – Erm I think it was a teddy for my baby cousin.

What was the last thing you had to drink? - Ice coffee from gloria jeans

What was the last thing you watched? - Youtube video?

Look At Me:
What is your current hair color?- Dark Brown. Sorry RL!

Currently Wearing: Skirt, shirt, waistcoat.

What color of shirt are you wearing? - white

Pants? – Black polka dot skirt with an empire waist height.

Shoes? - Slippers, i'm at home.

Necklaces? – This weird heart thing i opshopped in baulko vinnies

The Last:
Person you talked to in person? – My mum

Do you have mental breakdowns? – Erm, I don't know what to qualify as a break down, but i do get nervous and panicky before something major.
Do you like surveys? - Yes. lol.

Do you think any of your friends will fill this out? – Nope

Appearance:
Are you shorter than 5’4? - I think I'm 5'3.

Do you have many scars? - Quite a few.

Do you wish your hair was a different colour? – Sometimes, I wish my hair was auburn. But naturally. But that won't happen. :(

Have/had you had braces? - Nope, but i get told I can get it if i want. I qualify in other words.

Do you wear glasses/contacts? Nope.

Have you been told your attractive by a complete stranger? – Yeah, this drunk guy hit on me on the train. He didn't back off even when i told him i was sixteen. Then another time this like no joke, i swear he looked like 12, kid at parra station was talking to some guys i was with asking whos gf i was because i was "bangable" or whatever.

No good experiences with that lol.

---
Ok.

Bye guys!

Good luck for 3u tomorrow (if you do it)

Oh DM, my nano is just alyshamah. Also, i'm super jealous of your coffee machine! We should totally have a write in at your house and i can use it :p

November begins in two days!

Iced Coffee, and The Hulk.

I'm feeling the sad, sad truth about living with my parents.

I will never be able to have the perfect cup of coffee at home.

Reading all these coffee-lover blog posts, I realise (and I knew this before) I can't get a good coffee without a machine. It just doesn't work.

What I really need to try is the perfect ice coffee recipe.

Did you know there are two main ways of making ice coffee? Cold brew verses hot brew.

The hot brew (and more common) version is to simply brew normal hot coffee, let it cool, and then pour it over ice.

Cold brew is where you take cold water and soak the coffee powder in it, then slowly drain the coffee water away from the dregs, the refridgerate. It's a long process but it makes (supposedly) the best ice coffee.

I really really really want to try this, but there's no way its achievable with my family.

We don't have the fridge space lol. Also, my mum hates coffee.

Also, it turns out it's not just me who likes to use condensed milk in home made coffees. I managed to get coffee powder (not the instant stuff, the good stuff) by myself, but it's just not the same as freshly ground and brewed.

It's lacking that depth.

I really really really need to get a machine.

I told my mum when I move out I'm getting a coffee machine, and she gave her usual "coffee is evil - do you want to look like your 65 when your only 40?" rant, and i told i her don't care, i like coffee.

Then she told me she'll come over to my house and destroy my machines.

I nearly cried.

Not really. But I would if I had them and she did destroy it. Do you know how expensive coffee machines are? But I guess they would save you money if you bought coffee everyday. That's like $42 a week.

---

My brother is surprisingly aggressive now. It has increased considerably over such a short period of time. Before, when he was angry he'd just throw glares at you. Now, he'll actually come up and try and hit me. Maybe it's cause he's started to take kung fu, but it actually hurts a bit when the punches land.

I dunno. Maybe it's puberty.

He told me I should learn Kung Fu so I can defend myself in case he gets angry and looses it. I told him just to control himself and I wouldn't have to worry about it.

Kinda sounds like a conversation with the Hulk or something.

haha.

Did you have any drastic emotional changes when you went through puberty? I remember I cried all the time, for absolutely no reason. Once I cried when my mum said we were having dessert, and I didn't know why. She will never let me forget that.

---

I saw this on the internet, and I laughed so hard. It would be such a brilliant compliment in real life, but it'd be super bad to write it on a facebook photo post.

Can you imagine? It'd be kinda like... bad

oh the chaos.

---

Nano! I'm so excited. I was talking to my mum's friend who is an editor/column writer/Josh's english tutor and told her I was doing nano and she was like COOOOOL! And I was like I know! And then she was like "Is it for school?" and i was like "no, just wanted to do it." and she was like "ok. *weird face* You're doing it with friends though?" And I was like "yup"

So guys, you need to nano with me, and we can word battle and such. It will be fun! :D

Also I don't have any nano friends on my author profile, which is sad lol.

Probably because i don't know how to add anyone. :p

---

Anyway, here's a meme.

I just realised, my blog is quite image heavy. I apologise for those slow internets out there.

bye guys!

movie night

Haven't participated in a family movie night for a while, with HSC and all. We watched Snow White and the Huntsman.

There aren't very many movies that make me feel really really excited and also disappointed. Phantom of the Opera was one. This is the other one. I'm sincerely hoping Les Miserables will not be another one.

I just felt that Kristen couldn't act. She has no change in facial expressions at all, and her face was just... dopey. DOPEY. It frustrated me, especially since Charlize was soooooooo good. The plot, the cinematography, the sets, even the costume designs were all brill, but her acting is so wooden! ARGH.

I don't want to be a Kristen hater, but it's out there. I've seen enough on 9gag. But I seriously think she really brought the movie down. I just couldn't take her seriously, I didn't connect with her character, she didn't create emotion. Hell I felt bad for the Queen more than Snow White. And that end scene? Gosh. It was frustrating.

The thing is, she actually doesn't stop pulling the 2nd face. For everything.

Charlize was brilliant though. Gosh she's gorgeous. And such conviction. The costumes she wore, they worked perfectly for her. Such a costume could threaten to wear the actor, but i guess that's what happens when you were a model before an oscar winning actress.

Perhaps it's kind of harsh to be highly criticaly of Kristen when the counter lead is an Oscar winner. The only big movie she's shot is the Twilight series (i haven't watched it yet) so i dunno how good she is. But really, all the other relatively newbie actors who just came out with one feature film (Thor and Pirates 3) were brilliant too, so i can't say much. I dunno. She just frustrated me.

Perhaps if she was an actual new comer and wasn't in Twilight, it wouldn't have got such a negative reaction.

But I still probably would be frustrated by her lack of facial expression.

My mum told me she slept with the director. I just kind of blinked in shock.

---

I read the japanese manga version of Battle Royale, which is what some people claim to be the original Hunger Games.

I have to say, they have their similarities, but they're both actually quite different. Hunger Games is way more political in my opinion. (SPOILER ALERT) I mean, with the extreme focus on humanity and leadership and that age old concept "absolute power corrupts absolutely." Where as I found Battle Royale more to be an exploration on humanity and what people could do when pushed, and the animalistic, brutal tendancies that are buried inside all of us.

I like them both, for different reasons.

(You can see how much I've been studying right?)

---

Nanowrimo Sydney Western Area Kick off is tommorrow in Hyde Park! Also the zombie walk lol. Is anyone going to that? I would but I'm not let out of the house. Apparently I'll study at home. Well I probably wouldn't study if I was let out of the house either so meh.

Have you guys sorted out plots? I've sort of worked mine out, and developed two characters. Ish. I hope it turns out ok this year haha. Other years i ended up hating it so much I just stopped working on it. Have you guys chosen/worked out stuff already? I'm excited!

---

My sister is a SISTAR fangirl.

Though i have to admit, when she showed me the video even my heart skipped a bit.

Never again will maths be done.

I'm actually super happy that math is over. OVER! I WILL NEVER HAVE TO DO MATH AGAIN!

I thought the paper was about the same as a school paper, but i always thought school papers were tricky anyway.

I have a feeling 3U math won't count for me :p.

Oh well.

---

My internet came back! I'm super happy.

Also, i found this site whilst i was browsing around, it's a definite laugh guarenteed, especially if you like cats. Make it rain domestic animals! (If you click the make it rain button it has a sound effect.)

I kept it open on a tab and i laughed everytime i opened it. It's so stupid. Maybe i'm stupid. I dunno.

Cats are cute. I remember when i stayed in France, my host family had a cat. It slept on my bed. I wasnt sure if it was supposed to or not, but i think she knew she could take advantage of me because i thought she was cute.

Cats are smart.

Please dont let me turn into a cat lady.

---

It was really hot today. One thing i like about hot weather is that if you leave the washing on the line and forget to take it down before it turns dark, it's ok because the clothes don't get damp. :)

----

I saw this and laughed, because that might happen to me if i was a companion.

Then again, i might be too paralysed with fear.

 Bye guys!

MY INTERNET IS SO SLOW

IT TOOK AGES JUST TO LOAD THE PAGE SO I COULD TYPE.

I think it restores tomorrow. Then after maths I can go and read manga and load photos and be all stupid and deny 3u math.

Until then i will 2u.

---

I played Risk with my siblings today on the iPad at church, and apparently i have no soul because i ruthlessly took them all out.

Does that make me cruel?

I did win.

They had bad tatics.

My brother cried when i took out all his troops and took over North America.

In exchange I taught them how to use the cards.

Still.

Maybe I cruel.

My mum told me I'll be a good lawyer. I wonder if that was a compliment or not.

Good luck for math tomorrow everyone!

English Witches

What strikes me as the most amazing about Advanced English papers was perhaps the INTENSE SIMILARITY to our trial questions.

So now I ask myself, why oh why did I do Suu Kyi when it was last year? I should have done Bandler after the English predicted it would be Bandler. Stupid Alysha.

---

Was writing drama essay (last minute i know, seeing as the exam is tomorrow) and i was trying to remember this word, it's like origami but with cloth, and was like desperately thinking back to my year 8 obession with it and i was like... furoshiki? that sounds wrong.

Then i waited like HALF AN HOUR for my slow internet search to reveal the answer AND I WAS RIGHT!

I was amazed. lol.

---

I feel like eating steak. I dunno why. Perhaps its the innate fear of going vegan that my mum is threatening me with.

Today she cooked chinese vegetarian noodles. No eggs, no meat. Just chives and bean shoots (g-nah choi, or however you say it. i dunno. blame my malay-accented canto that i grew up with)

She's holding firm to her decision.

I can't say it tasted bad, cause it was good.

But I want steak for some reason.

STEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAK.

But I've always like soy milk. Soy milk is nice. :)

I think soy milk is nicer in coffees. I always pay the extra 50c or whatever to get soy, because it makes the coffee naturally sweeter, so you don't have to add sugar. And also, it's better for you. Yay soy!

Wow, i sound like those prentious dieters.

RL, I'll try not to be a prentious vegan. On the other side, if I did become vegan, I could go to vegan academy and get superpowers and be like that guy from Scott Pilgrim vs the World, all pretentious and super powered.

and i can be like "I part take in nothing that is, or comes from, nor the ovum, of anything with a face. Short story: Being vegan makes you better than most people." JUST LIKE THE FLOATING GUY FROM SCOTT PILGRIM

---

Also, freakin Tite Kubo. "series ending soon? TIME TO KILL ALL THE MAIN CHARACTERS!" (Insert troll face here.)

---
"OH MICKEY YOU SO FINE, '
YOU SO FINE YOU FLY THROUGH TIME
HEY MICKEY!!! YEAH YEAH
OH MICKEY DOCTOR GOT ROSE,
DOCTOR GOT ROSE, SO GO WITH MARTHA JONES
HEY MICKEY!! YEAH YEAH

LOL.

yes i wrote that. yes i'm sad. yes i should do drama.

bye guys.

VEGAN???

It's so hot today. Put ice in my cup and I checked it like 5 minutes later AND THE ICE WAS ALL GONE :O :O :O :O

Went to get my dress adjusted, I'm too small for it lol. Americans and their sizing. I got confused :p

---

I should be working but i'm not. :p

I saw this thing on the internet called a rain room. Pretty frickin awesome. Apparently it uses some computer thing to tell where you are, so when you walk through the room, you never get wet, although everywhere around you it's raining. Crazy.

---

My mum loves watching afternoon tv, all those talk shows and such. And there is this one called Dr Oz.

And he was like, pushing this amazing dude where he lost like 40kg and his cholesterol went down by half and my mum was like WOW.

And then he said "I went vegan"

And then my mum was like "We're going vegan!"

And I was like "... crap."

Vegan! How can I go vegan!

Vegetarian maybe, but not vegan.

Oh God Why

I have officially sunck to the lowest point of my HSC campaign, where the procrastination level of ridiculousness is just too high.

I thought watching that ENTIRE FIRST SEASON of that ridiculously high sex reference anime (Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt) was bad. Nope.

I thought downloading and completeing the entire The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time was bad. AND completling ALL THE SIDE QUESTS. Nope

I thought writing on this blog was bad. Nope.

Today I did something so shameful I SHAMED MYSELF INTO WORKING.

I WATCHED ALL THE AUDITIONS AND PERFORMANCES OF ONE DIRECTION ON BRITIAN'S X-FACTOR.

SOMEONE SAVE ME, HSC IS DRIVING ME CRAZY.

also, i think i'm a one direction fan.

Someone shoot me

Creative...

So I read this NY times article online today, and all I could think of Belonging and Navigating the Global. Could use as related for either one.

Read something by the Ruse dota crew. I think I'm dramatically effected by it. They have intense imaginations.

Also i'm kinda pissed because i forgot to save my 6th edit of my navglobal essay so i'm back to editing it again. for the 7th time.

I've been listening to ipod on shuffle and stuff i haven't heard in a long time came up. Like all the jap music i was obsessed with when i was in year 8and9.

And amazingly i still remembered all the words, and i was singing along.

EL, remember diamond tree? i still remember most of the dance.

yay hare hare yukai!

tbh sometimes, when i'm home along and it comes on shuffle, i would get up and dance it. (SO SAD I KNOW)

but if my sister's in the room i'll just move my arms.

Actually this reminds me of the time when RC was watching the series cause me and michelle were watching it, and he stood up at the front of english and did the mikuru beam LOLOLOL

mi-mi-mi-MIKURU BEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!!

Also, my TARDIS cup can hold a remarkable amount of liquid. Must be because it's bigger on the inside :D

 I'm so lame.

 Anyway, leaving

"ulzzang"

So I've barely been doing any study. At all. (I feel like I should add a 'lol' in, but it needs to be like a sarcastic depressed 'lol')

Also, my sister wants to enter this "ulzzang Asia" photo contest. Ulzzang, directly translated from the korean, means "perfect face."

So, you might guess that i don't condone this AT ALL. It's so superficial! You load your photo onto the site, and then the community either likes your photo or doesn't. The ones with the most likes gets to the next stage, and judges choose the best photo. The winners have a chance at a modelling contract.

Anyway, you can guess how I told her off about the kpop industry and such.

And then she was like "Help me choose my photo." (Clearly, is not paying attention to anything i was saying.)

The thing is, when she showed my her photo, i was floored. She was more than beautiful, she was SUPERMEGAFOXYAWESOMEHOT.

(I was going to show the picture on my blog but i decided not to in case all the male readers decide to stalk her and she kills all the female egos. She killed mine. Not that it was particularly big or anything.)

Maybe i'm bias, but i genuinely thought "She totally could win that contest."

I should do some math. All i've been doing lately is english. :p

here's some Doctor Who, cause you know you want it ;)

 Bye guys
